Lebanon City Police are investigating the death of a woman following an incident last week at a local car wash.
Lebanon police chief Eric Sims said police were called to Carriage House Car Wash, at 123 Bowman St., on the evening of Wednesday, April 15, for a medical assist.

Upon arrival, first responders rendered care to the woman, who was unresponsive. Sims said the woman was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Sims said the incident is under investigation and an autopsy is pending. He declined to speculate or comment on the circumstances of the woman’s passing, but said at this point police do not believe there is a criminal element to the death.
Carriage House Car Wash owner Kyle Wenger said the company is cooperating with city police in their investigation and has reopened the facility with their approval.
“The safety and security of our customers, our team, and the entire community remain our highest priority,” said Wenger. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted.”
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this article mistakenly referred to the car wash owner as Kyle Bowman, not Kyle Wenger. We sincerely regret the error.
