Many regional employers continue to struggle with workforce shortages and may be overlooking valuable talent pools that are ready and eager to contribute. This program will highlight new pathways to hiring and provide practical guidance on tapping into underutilized workforce resources to strengthen businesses.
Attendees will hear directly from experts representing state and regional organizations, each offering insights, connections, and actionable solutions to help employers meet their workforce needs.
Presenters include:
- Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry – Patricia Blumenauer
- Lebanon County Jail – Warden Tina Litz
- Office of Vocational Rehabilitation – Patrick Kane
- Veterans Affairs – Vince Jones
- Lebanon County Reentry Mentoring Program – Leroya Ryan
The workshop, held from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the chamber offices, will feature a series of presentations followed by a panel discussion.
Karen Groh shared, “With Lebanon County’s unemployment rate at just 3.2%, employers must think strategically about workforce solutions. By better understanding available programs, they can not only meet hiring needs but also create meaningful opportunities for individuals to contribute to our regional economy.”
The free event is open to the public; however, registration is required by calling the chamber at 717-273-3727 or visiting lvchamber.org.
