Bethel Township
Vehicle accident – At 6:31 p.m. July 1, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 67-year-old Fredericksburg woman was traveling north on Mount Zion Road when the woman drifted off the right side of the road, striking a guide rail end. The woman was wearing a seatbelt, sustained suspected minor injuries, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged the woman with driving on roadways laned for traffic. Fire and EMS assisted on the scene.
Vehicle accident – At 3:57 p.m. July 2, a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling south on South Pine Grove Street when it abruptly slowed due to traffic congestion ahead and was rear-ended by a 1994 Chevrolet K1500, causing minor functional damage to both vehicles. The K1500 was towed from the scene per the driver’s request. Police charged the driver with following too closely.
City of Lebanon
Theft by unlawful taking – Police charged Melissa Houck, 54, with theft by unlawful taking after an incident at around 4:30 p.m. April 11 on the 100 block of Pershing Avenue.
Aggravated assault – Police charged Nelson Velez, 33, with aggravated assault after an incident at around 10 p.m. June 13 on the 700 block of Chestnut Street.
Drug possession, resisting arrest – Police charged John Fontanez-Ramos, 31, with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest after police took him into custody on July 3 on an active warrant.
Robbery – Police charged Antoni Rivera-Figueroa, 21, Juan Vizcarrondo-Fargas, 29, and Ricardo Ubarri, 25, with robbery in connection with an incident at around 12 a.m. July 5 on the 1100 block of Old Cumberland Street.
Arrest warrant issued – Police obtained an arrest warrant for Xavier Baez, 29, with the original charge being possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Theft – At around 7 p.m. June 24, the pictured subject removed a package from a home on the 300 block of South 6th Street. Anyone with information about this incident should contact Lebanon City Police at 717-272-6611 or through CRIMEWATCH.

Struck pedestrian – At around 4 p.m. June 10, the pictured subject struck a pedestrian while riding an electric bike on the 1000 block of Church Street and fled the area. Anyone with information about the incident should contact Lebanon City Police at 717-272-6611 or through CRIMEWATCH.

Fireworks citations – During the evening hours on the Fourth of July, Lebanon City Police filed 17 citations for unlawfully discharging fireworks within the city limits.
Lebanon City Police would like to remind the public that enforcement of the city’s fireworks ordinances will continue. The unlawful use of fireworks poses a significant risk to public safety, increases the potential for injuries and property damage, and disrupts surrounding neighborhoods.
Police appreciate the cooperation of the community in helping keep Lebanon safe by celebrating responsibly and complying with local fireworks regulations.

Big Boy. Big crowds. Big community spirit. – July 7 was a day to remember as the Big Boy No. 4014 made its stop in Lebanon city! Lebanon City Police thank everyone who came out to be a part of this historic moment and make it such a great community event.

Heidelberg Township
Vehicle accident – At 2:29 p.m. July 2, a 2016 Kia Sedona was traveling on South 5th Avenue when it struck the front end of an oncoming 2020 Chevrolet Equinox in front of a driveway. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained minor front-end damage and were driven from the scene. The Chevrolet was having issues with its power steering system and requested a self-tow by RJ Sells. Police charged the driver of the Kia with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Lebanon County Regional
DUI, drug possession – At 1:01 p.m. May 26, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of North 25th and Taylor streets in North Lebanon Township for a traffic violation. Police said the driver, Maurice Cumberbatch, 48, was operating the vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police arrested Cumberbatch for DUI and found Cumberbatch had 24 convictions for driving while suspended, three convictions for driving while DUI-suspended, and two convictions for DUI. Police charged Cumberbatch with two counts of misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving while suspended, and two counts of summary driving while suspended.
Retail theft – At 12:49 p.m. June 18, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township after an 18-year-old man stole merchandise worth $45.90 from the store. Police charged him with summary retail theft and released him.
Open container – Police charged an 18-year-old man with a violation of a North Lebanon Township Ordinance prohibiting the possession of an opened alcoholic beverage container. The charge stems from an incident on June 25 in which the man was located walking on the 700 block of Narrow Drive in North Lebanon Township while in possession of an open alcoholic beverage container.
Public drunkenness – At 12:45 a.m. June 29, police located a publicly intoxicated subject at 16th and Chestnut streets in North Cornwall Township. Police said the 36-year-old man was intoxicated to the degree that he could not care for himself. Police took him home and charged him with summary public drunkenness.
Confinement of dogs – At 1 p.m. July 1, police responded to the 1100 block of East Lehman Street in North Lebanon Township for an animal complaint. Police said a 73-year-old woman failed to confine her dog running at large. Police recently gave the woman a verbal warning about confining her dog, resulting in charging her with summary confinement of dogs for this incident.
Warrant issued and served – At around 5:08 p.m. July 2, police responded to the 1800 block of Center Street in North Cornwall Township where an individual had been assaulted by Julia Stager, 21, who left prior to police arrival. The individual sustained a laceration to her head that required treatment by medics. Police obtained a warrant for Stager’s arrest on charges of misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment and served the warrant on Stager after she turned herself in to LCCB on July 8.
Warrant served – On July 4, police pulled over a vehicle traveling on East Lehman Street in Lebanon. During the stop, police identified a passenger as Julia Boyer, 28, who had an active arrest warrant. Police took Boyer into custody without incident and transported her to LCCB, where she was processed.
Fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving – At 7:35 p.m. July 6, police attempted to pull over an ATV on North 8th Avenue near Academy Drive in Lebanon. The driver, Michael Breslin, 33, fled from the officer at a high rate of speed, driving recklessly and illegally passing another vehicle. Breslin and the ATV were located a short time later to the rear of a property on Kimmerlings Road. The ATV was towed. Police charged Breslin with misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, summary reckless driving, summary no passing zone, summary driving while suspended, summary registration and certificate of title required, and summary required financial responsibility.
South Lebanon Township
Unsworn falsification to authorities – On April 26, police received a request from the Pennsylvania State Police Firearms Division to investigate an attempted firearm purchase on Aug. 22 at Shyda’s Outdoor Center, where Alex Kissinger, 28, allegedly provided false information on a federal firearms transaction record while attempting to purchase a firearm. The purchase was denied by the Pennsylvania Instant Check System, and police charged Kissinger with a false written statement in connection with the purchase of a firearm, which is a misdemeanor.
DUI – At around 12:38 a.m. May 17, police pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations and observed the driver, Juan Hernandez Padro, 61, exhibiting signs of impairment. Padro admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to driving. Police arrested Padro for DUI and transported him for a legal blood draw. Toxicology results later showed that Padro had a BAC of 0.196% at the time of the traffic stop. Police charged Padro with misdemeanor DUI-general impairment, misdemeanor DUI-highest rate of alcohol, and summary turning movements and required signals.
DUI, Medical Marijuana Act violation – At around 11:18 p.m. May 25, police conducted a patrol check at AES Ironwood Park and found a vehicle parked inside the park after hours. Police made contact with the driver, Rafael Santiago, 23, and observed signs of impairment. Police also located multiple THC vape cartridges and marijuana products in the vehicle. Police transported Santiago for a legal blood draw, and toxicology results confirmed the presence of THC in Santiago’s blood. Police charged Santiago with DUI-drug or combination of drugs-general impairment, DUI-schedule I controlled substance, and Medical Marijuana Act violation.

The purchase was denied by the Pennsylvania Instant Check System, and police charged George with misdemeanor unsworn falsification to authorities.
Defiant trespass – On June 27, police responded to Cedar Haven Healthcare Center for a reported disturbance and determined that employee Corinna Potts, 32, was directed by Cedar Haven staff to leave the property. After being given multiple lawful requests to leave by both staff and responding officers, Potts refused to do so. Police took Potts into custody and charged her with misdemeanor defiant trespass.
South Londonderry Township
Warrant served – At 7:56 a.m. July 1, police made contact with Brian Weik, 58, on the 2300 block of Brandt Road in Annville regarding previously reported burglary incidents in South Londonderry Township. Police took Weik into custody for an active burglary warrant, with the original charges being burglary, theft, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief, and later transported him to LCCB.
Vehicle accident – At 11:04 a.m. July 2, a minor three-vehicle crash occurred on Horseshoe Pike at South Forge Road as a Mazda CX-5 driven by a 47-year-old Lebanon man rear-ended a sedan driven by a 29-year-old Wrightsville woman, which, in turn, rear-ended an SUV driven by a 50-year-old Lebanon woman. No injuries were reported. All vehicles were driven from the scene.
Western Lebanon County Regional
Harboring a dangerous dog – Police charged a 66-year-old Annville woman with harboring a dangerous dog and confinement of dog on premises after an incident June 2 on the 300 block of East Maple Street in Annville.
Harassment – Police charged a 21-year-old Annville man and a 20-year-old Annville woman with harassment-physical contact after an incident June 1 on the 500 block of Carmany Place in Annville.
Retail theft – Police charged a 17-year-old Palmyra boy with retail theft after an incident on June 10 at Sheetz in Palmyra.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a 29-year-old Palmyra man with disorderly conduct after an incident on June 22 at Annville-Cleona Community Pool.
Retail theft – Police charged a 29-year-old Palmyra man with retail theft after an incident June 22 at Turkey Hill in Palmyra.
Retail theft – Police charged a 21-year-old Palmyra man with retail theft after an incident June 29 at Sheetz in Palmyra.
Failing to control dog – Police charged a 65-year-old Annville man with failing to control dog after an incident June 20 on the 100 block of Mill Place in Annville.
Warrant served – At 1:12 p.m. July 10, police stopped an electric bike on the 900 block of East Main Street in Palmyra for failing to stop at a red light. Police identified the driver as Luis Cruz-Rodriguez, 30, and found he had a bench warrant out of Cumberland County for misdemeanor DUI-drugs. Police arrested Cruz-Rodriguez on the warrant and transferred him to the custody of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department.
Attempt to identify theft suspect – Police are asking for assistance with a theft that occurred June 28 at the Annville Laundromat. At around 12:10 a.m., an unidentified male is seen on surveillance footage stealing multiple items from the laundromat. Any assistance the community can provide is appreciated.
