A Palmyra man charged in the boating deaths of his fiancee and 3-year-old daughter has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and other charges.

Three incumbents and one challenger are on the Nov. 5 ballot in the Lebanon County Commissioners race.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will take up the case challenging Lebanon County's policy on medical marijuana and probation. The court has also issued a 'stay' on the policy that stops people on probation from using medical marijuana, even if they have a card. That means, the policy will not be enforced or implemented until further order from the Supreme Court.

A state House committee has advanced a bill, sponsored by State Rep. Frank Ryan (R-101), that requires healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania to bury or cremate fetal remains following an abortion or miscarriage.

The Supreme Court is still deciding if it will hear a case challenging a policy that blocks people on probation from using medical marijuana in Lebanon County, even if the person has a medical marijuana card.
