Arthur Brown Jr., 81, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at home. He was the husband of Diane H. (Kidd) Brown, to whom he was married for 61 years.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, on Jan. 6, 1945, Arthur was a son of the late Arthur and Vietta (Kellow) Brown. He was a 1962 graduate of Marple Newtown High School, where he was a standout in track and field. He worked for Sun Oil Company for 40 years, starting in 1965 as a lab technician and ending his career as Head of Technical Operations for Sunoco Race Fuels. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the beach, reading, history, and watching his grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sporting events.

In addition to his wife, Arthur is survived by his children, Debby Brown and Stephen Brown, husband of Jennifer; grandchildren, Jaime Lyons, wife of Joseph, and Emily, Ian, and Alexander Brown; great-grandchildren, Colton, Scout, and Charlotte Lyons; sister, Sarah Demas, wife of Bob; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Wayne Brown; and sister, Shelly Snyder.
