Bonnie Y. Troutman, 88, of Myerstown, PA, died on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Juniper Village, Lebanon. She was the wife of Gary E. Troutman, who died on May 24, 2008.
Our beloved mother went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a blessing to many and will be missed by all who knew her. She loved God and was a faithful follower of Jesus. She always shared kindness, warmth, and cheer. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother, a wonderful grandmother, and an awesome great-grandmother.
Born in Richland, PA, on Feb. 11, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Lee K. and Dorothy E. (Fifer) Landes. A 1956 graduate of Myerstown High School, Bonnie was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, PA. She was employed as a hostess and cashier at Country Fare Restaurant, Myerstown, PA, for 10 years. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, flower gardening, and music.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia, wife of Alan Gernert, of Myerstown; son, Brian, husband of Tonya Troutman, of Annville; grandchildren, Alana Clements, Hillary Moser, Blaine Troutman, and Brenna Troutman; great-grandchildren, Blake Clements, Logan Clements, Reagan Moser, Evan Moser, and Finn Moser; and nephew, Owen Landes. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ward Merideth Landes.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Friedens Lutheran Church, 301 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
