Carolyn S. Bainbridge, 84, of Lancaster, PA, died on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Ephrata Manor.
Born in Reading, PA, on Nov. 21, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Leroy A. and Ellen N. (Zeller) Schoener. Carolyn was a 1959 graduate of Bethel High School. She kept in touch with many of her classmates through the years. She enjoyed meeting new people and always had a smile and a friendly word to share.
Carolyn loved decorating and creating beautiful flower arrangements. She had several different careers throughout her life, including two self-owned businesses where she used her decorating talent. She held several administrative assistant positions over the years at various places, but one of her favorite jobs was at a retirement/nursing home that she remembered fondly. Carolyn also loved to dance.
She is survived by her daughters, Michele, wife of Michael Krick, of Harrisburg, PA, and Erin Sohn, companion of Phillip Vogt, of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Jillian, wife of Heath Greene, Jordan, husband of Jessica Krick, and Chad, husband of Erin Krick; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Sherk, widow of Kenneth Sherk, of Myerstown, PA; and brother, David, husband of Dorothy Schoener, of Myerstown, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Salem Reformed Cemetery, Bethel.
