Charles E. Kohr, 89, of Myerstown, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, in Good Samaritan Hospital-Lebanon.

He was the widower of Doris J. (nee Keener) Kohr who passed away on February 1, 2013. Born in Tremont, he was a son of the late Charles Benjamin and Annie (nee Reinbold) Kohr. Charles began his working career at a young age as a farmhand. He then went on to work at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon and retired from IDC in Myerstown. Following retirement, he was a bus driver for the ELCO School District for many years. Charles enjoyed country music, talking about cars and spending time with friends at the VFW.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan wife of Dennis Gibson, of Lebanon; two sons, David Kohr and Timmy Kohr husband of Earletta, both of Myerstown; four grandchildren, Meghan Johnson, Brandon Gibson, Tabitha L. Krick and Samantha E. Balthaser; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Kohr husband of Josie, of Myerstown and Russel Kohr, of Schaefferstown. There are also several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with services beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, Inc.-Myerstown, PA. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery-Annville.
