Dennis A. Firestone, 74, of Jonestown, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at his home. He was the husband of Debra A. (Adams) Firestone. On Feb. 26, they celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on Sept. 26, 1951, he was the son of the late Herbert C. and Helen (Beard) Firestone. Dennis served in the U.S. Air Force for nine years. He then joined the Army National Guard and retired as SGM. He worked as the Lebanon County Purchaser and retired in 2021 after 20 years of service. For 20 years, he was also the Union Township Supervisor and served as Chairman for many years. He valued his time working around his home and especially spending time with his wife.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Dennis L. Firestone, of Hershey, and Chad D., and his wife, Reneé Firestone, of Lebanon; sister, Beverly Reigel, of Palmyra; grandchildren, Connor Dennis and Kayla Marie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert, Ronald, and Russell Allen.

In honoring Dennis’ wishes, there will be no services. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
