Douglas E. Burrows, 69, of Bethel, PA, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2026.
Born on May 15, 1957, in Titusville, PA, he was the son of the late Earl “Casey” and Irene (Fish) Burrows. Doug was a 1975 graduate of Titusville High School. He retired from GAF in Myerstown after 17 years of dedicated service. Prior to his time at GAF, he worked for PA Precision Castparts and Quaker State, where he was known for his strong work ethic and quiet dependability.
Doug was an avid golfer who especially enjoyed his summer golf league. He loved traveling with his wife. When he wasn’t working on a project around the house, he could often be found enjoying the open road on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Gingrich) Burrows; children, Michael Burrows, and his wife, Jessica, and Alexis Werhel, and her husband, Cody; sisters, Cheryl Young, and her husband, Timothy, and Vohnie Miller, and her husband, Richard; and four nieces and nephews.
