Gary E. Hamilton, 85, of Myerstown, PA, died on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Celebration Villa of Lebanon. He was the husband of Elizabeth J. (Brown) Hamilton, who died on June 7, 2008.

Born in Huntingdon, PA, on Feb. 16, 1941, he was a son of the late Melvin V. and Martha L. (Rohrer) Hamilton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Gary was a member of Lebanon Independent Baptist Church and the IBEW. He was employed as an electrician with IBEW LU 143 in Harrisburg.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Amanda L., wife of Thomas Frazier, of Myerstown; sons, Timothy, husband of Lisa Hamilton, of Colorado, Keith, husband of Laura Hamilton, of Pittsburgh, and Bruce, husband of Heather Hamilton, of Sharpsburg, MD; grandchildren, Jared, Jellisa, Mallori, Lexi, Kaitlin, Allison, and Matthew; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Nancy Louise Gruber; brother-in-law, Carl Edward Brown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Jayne Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lebanon Independent Baptist Church, 45 N. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
