Genoveva Laguna-Serrano, 84, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the wife of the late Raul Torres-Morales.

Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, on Jan. 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Pedro Laguna-Maldonado and Evangelina Osorio-Serrano. She worked as a machine operator in the garment industry. Genoveva was an active and most faithful member of the Iglesia Evangélica de Santidad in Lebanon. She served as assistant treasurer and took the attendance. She volunteered when the church would serve the monthly breakfast for the RaceTrack Chaplaincy outreach. She loved her Wednesday night Bible study, visiting the sick and the shut-ins, and making phone calls. She was always willing to pick up different ones and take them to church, where she was always on time. She enjoyed puzzles, playing dominoes, and gardening. She especially loved to host her family and friends for dinners and cookouts.

She is survived by her son, Nelson Torres, of Lebanon; daughters, Myrna, wife of Earl D. Hostetter, of Lebanon, and Vilma, wife of Anthony Puckett, of Lebanon; and sisters, Petra Laguna-Serrano, Raquel Laguna-Serrano, and Juanita Laguna-Serrano, all of Puerto Rico.

Funeral services and burial will be held in Puerto Rico.
