James Michael “Jim” Fick, 90, passed peacefully at his home on May 31, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Lebanon, Jim graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School and Lebanon Business College, and entered the insurance business where he managed a four-county region for 41 years. Jim was a people person who, over decades in the profession, was a friend to many and a mentor to countless young professionals.

Fick served his community in many areas, including class treasurer, Republican Committee person, South Lebanon Zoning Board member, Knights of Columbus member, and Aspen Development Homeowners Association president. Jim and his wife, Janice, worshipped at St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society.

He had great respect for others, love for his community, and was always equipped with humorous sayings. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, a hard worker with a quick wit and resilience throughout his well-lived life.

In addition to his parents, the late Nicolas and Marianna Fick, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters.

James said his greatest joy and proudest accomplishments are his children and family. He is survived by his wife, Janice, of 70 years; daughters, Christi (Dean) Wolf, Linda (Frank) Reich, and Gina Fick Stahlnecker; son, James M. (Tammy) Fick; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed, but joined with Christ in glory!

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at St. Cecilia’s Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
