Richard B. Carroll, Sr., 94, of Lebanon died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born in North Cornwall Township on May 10, 1927, he was the son of the late Sara Boyer Carroll. Richard was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War and WWII. He was a member of Tabor UCC in Lebanon, the Lebanon Industrial Management Club, the National Director of Lebanon JC’s, a member of Lebanon E.L.K.S., the Harrisburg Consistory, and the Annville American Legion. He served as President of the Lebanon Valley Life Underwriters Association, was on the Board of Directors at Quest, Inc., and was two-time President of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club. Richard was a proud member of Mount Lebanon Masonic Lodge #226 and a Chairman on the Lebanon County Republican Committee. He was self-employed and worked 44 years as an agent for New York Life.

Surviving are two daughters, Debra J. Carroll-Weaver, of Myerstown, Diane L. Carroll, of Annville, a son, Dennis Carroll, husband of Patricia, of Maryland, six grandchildren, Anthony Weaver, Adam Brown, Alexander Brown, Travis Carroll, Chadd Carroll, Luke Carroll, five great-grandchildren, and his loving companion and friend, Marilyn Smith, of Myerstown. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys S. “Connie” Speraw Carroll and his son, Richard B. Carroll, Jr.

Masonic Services preceding the Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27 at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main Street Annville, PA 17003. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will be held at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery following the service. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is overseeing arrangements.
