Robert E. Zimmerman II has entered his journey from this realm called Earth to take his place in the Cosmos.
Robert E. Zimmerman II, 62, died on April 11, 2026, after a short illness. He was born on June 4, 1963, at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. California.
He is survived by his father, Robert E. Zimmerman, of Lebanon; brothers, Dwayne (Tammy), of Lebanon, and Steven (Jennifer); a niece and nephew, of Strasburg; son, Nicholas (Rachel); four grandchildren, of Ephrata; aunts, Jacqueline Fick Laurence and Anastasia Fick, both of Lebanon; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Sandra (Fick) Zimmerman; grandparents, Walter and Irene Zimmerman, and Joseph and Evelyn Fick; three uncles; and three aunts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
