Robert J. Koch, 78, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Vicki S. (Rothenberg) Koch.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on June 25, 1948, he was a son of the late Frank and Catherine (Rimpf) Koch. Robert retired from Bayer Pharmaceuticals after many years of dedicated service. Outside of his career, he found great joy in music and tennis. A talented musician, he was a member of the band The Centurys during the 1960s. He was a member of Calvary Chapel and was previously a member of Beth Israel and Hosanna Christian Fellowship.

Robert is survived by his son, Daniel J. Koch, husband of Erin; twin grandsons, Max and Zach; brother, James Koch; and sisters, Ceal Schlegel, wife of Jack, and Carole Shay, wife of Michael. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Ellen, Frank, Kitty Lou, Rita, and Kathy.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a service led by Pastor Thom Keller at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Graveside services will be officiated by Rabbi Marshal Klaven at Beth Israel Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
