Robert N. Thomas, 95, of Myerstown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Hitz) Thomas, with whom he celebrated 68 years in marriage.

Robert was born in Chambersburg on Feb. 17, 1926, to the late Albert and Della (Herr) Thomas. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of the former Waterworks United Methodist Church. Robert was spiritual and enjoyed reading scripture. He was active with Naval reunions and traveling all over the country to be with fellow Navy Members from the former ships he had been on during the war.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Barry Thomas, Jeffrey Thomas, Cindy Brosey, Anthony Thomas, Joanne Hummel, Brian Thomas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sisters Virginia Bowman and Thelma Clark.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald, Jack, and Lee Thomas, and Frances Lucy and Doris Shull

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. With Covid restrictions at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, the Interment will be limited to immediate family members only. There will be a viewing held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
