Robert R. Daub Sr., 82, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Laurie G. (Gates) Daub. On Oct. 23, they would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on Feb. 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Roy and Dorothy (Zearfoss) Daub. He was a member of the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Lebanon. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army in Germany as a missile specialist during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Raymark in Manheim. For many years, he was involved with the Ebenezer Midget Football League and 5th Ward Baseball. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, watching sports, and was a big Rams fan. He especially loved his grandchildren and going to their football, softball, and baseball games and wrestling matches.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Timothy J., and his wife, Stefanie Daub, of Jonestown; daughters, Tammy J. Vines, of Jonestown, Kate L., wife of Brad Barr, of Jonestown, and Anne E., wife of Leonid Aguilar, of Lebanon; brothers, Edward and Raymond Daub, both of Lebanon; sisters, Katherine Roof, Mildred Leonard, and Judy Knier, all of Lebanon; grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Matt, Nathaniel, Alex, Antonio, Kaleb, Maegan, Leyani, and Hadley; and great-grandchildren, Mayla, Hadley, and June.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen (Leonard) Daub; son, Robert R. Daub Jr.; brother, Harry Daub; and sisters, Jean Davis and Janet Fulk.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer.
