Ronald M. Miller, 79, of Lebanon, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 11, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Joan M. (Sechrist) Miller.

Born in Lebanon on Oct. 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Ernest and Marian (Bomberger) Miller. Ron retired from Alcoa, where he started out in maintenance and worked his way up to labor relations. He was very active in their fire safety program. Ron also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He was an active member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, Jonestown. For many years, he and his wife were in charge of the kitchen committee, and he also served as a church elder. Ron served as a Fire Chief of the Ebenezer Fire Co., was a State Fire Instructor, and was an Assistant Chaplain of The Firefighters Association, as well as a Volunteer Chaplain of the Good Samaritan Hospital.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa M., wife of the late Scott Gingrich, of Lebanon; granddaughter, Madeline Grace; sister, Joann, wife of Russell Steiner, of Lebanon; and brother, Ernest Miller, of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald M. Miller Jr.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, at the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, 600 Shepherd St., Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church.
