Thomas I. Leach, 98, of Fairborn, OH, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026. He was the husband of the late Frances M. (Anderson) Igo Leach, who passed away in 2017, and the late Verien Louise (Hall) Leach, who passed away in 1966.

Born in Mifflintown, PA, he was a son of the late Oren and Charlotte (Flood) Leach. Thomas worked as a Logistics Analyst Specialist for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. He was a member of the Fairborn American Legion Post 526 and the Fairborn Eagles 2641. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Teresa, wife of Brian Tribut, and Janette, wife of David Schmeling; grandchildren, Jonathan Powell, and partner, Tiffany, Matthew Powell, Erin Tribut, Jeremy Tribut, and wife, Angelica, and Jacob Tribut, and wife, Alissa; great-grandsons, Aiden Powell, Maxwell Powell, and Sid Powell; and sister, Gloria Harris.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lester Leach, Raymond Leach, and Clyde Leach; and sisters, Virginia Cohn, Betty Castelli, Doris Arena, and Pauline Popp.

Private graveside services will be held at Grand View Memorial Park in Lebanon, PA, where he will be laid to rest next to Verien Louise.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his memory.
