Timothy J. Keefer, 73, of Jonestown, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at his home. He was the husband of Marlene F. (Harbaugh) Keefer. On Jan. 17, they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.

Born in Pine Grove on June 10, 1952, he was the son of the late Paul and Pauline (Madenford) Keefer. He worked in maintenance for the former San Giorgio plant in Lebanon until its closing. He then worked for Derry Township Schools, and for over 20 years, he has worked in maintenance for JBT. Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially mowing his grass and taking care of his property.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Timothy J., and his wife, Melissa Keefer, of Lebanon, Matthew J., and his wife, Kayla Keefer, of Jonestown, and Paul J., and his wife, Michelle Keefer, of Jonestown; sister, Marietta Flickinger, of Ono; grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, Jaden, Bailey, Kendyl, Trevor, and Adalynn; and great-grandchildren, Carson, Cayden, Owyn, and Oakley. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Keefer; and sister, Paulette “Debbie” Binkley.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
