Tonya Ruth Hottenstein, 50, of Harrisburg, died Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center

Born in Fort Hood, TX on December 23, 1968, she was the daughter of F. Peter and Anita Hottenstein (Eiceman) of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Tonya was a social worker supervisor for the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit’s Center for Schools and Communities and recently had her 20 year anniversary with the agency. She was very passionate about this job that allowed her to work with the Statewide Adoption Network Helpline helping children in the foster system find permanent homes.

Surviving in addition to her parents is her boyfriend Derek Warner, step-son Wyatt Warner, and step-daughter Adela Warner, all of Harrisburg. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Tara Hottenstein and brother-in-law Nicky Mack of Gulfport, Florida as well as many cherished companion animals.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville with a visitation following the service. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
