The first-ever Tower to Town 10-mile race is about a month out, with potential runners advised to register by September 28 for best pricing and to guarantee a t-shirt. The race will take place Saturday October 7th rain or shine.
The race will cost $40/person (or $30/person for relays) if registering before September 28, and $50/person (or $40/person for relays) after that. Registrations will also include a t-shirt if done before September 28, with shirts available as supplies last after that.
The course start at Clarence Schock Memorial Park with a run up to the Governor Dick tower, followed by a return to town via the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail with a finish line in Optimist Park. Relay teams are allowed, with race organizers noting that the first half of the race will see more hills, rocks, and potentially mud depending on weather.

The race will begin at 10am, and there will be shuttles to the starting line from Optimist Park beginning at 8:30am.
Races sponsors include Strickler Insurance, Ed and Jeanne Arnold, Wilson Consulting Group, and more. Proceeds from this race will go towardsย construction of the John E. Wengert Memorial Park.
Additional proceeds will also benefit the Lebanon Valley Conservancy and the Community Health Council of Lebanon Valley.
The 1st overall relay and 1st male and female solo racer will receive awards, with additional recognition to the top 3 relay teams and overall males/females in each age group in 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
