Last week we took the opportunity of the Eagles playoff run to talk about how two men with Lebanon connections played a minor role in that storyline.
But, as a reader pointed out at the time, Matt Nagy and Frank Reich aren’t actually the reason the Eagles are headed to the playoffs (the Eagles are the reason the Eagles are headed to the playoffs, natch). We just wanted an excuse to tell the story of these two impressive men.
Well, it looks like we weren’t alone in wanting to broadcast the charming narratives of how two men with Central PA roots ended up leading two teams into contention for this year’s NFL playoffs.
Here’s our roundup of interesting coverage about these two coaches.

Watch: Q&A with the Eagles’ Frank Reich (Jeremy Long, Lebanon Daily News)
It may be few years old, but this interview by Jeremy Long with Frank Reich is just great. His favorite thing about Philly? All the great food. Better mascot, Eagle or Falcon? Eagle. His favorite thing to do in Lebanon? Eat lunch at Fairview Golf Course with Jim Jones. (The Jones family owns five Central PA courses through its Distinct Golf brand.)
