A 28 year old Lebanon woman was traveling south on Quentin Road and struck the rear of a 45 year old Lebanon woman as she was stopped in traffic. Minor damage to both vehicles, no injuries reported.

Traffic stop for heavily tinted windows; a 41 year old Lebanon man was charged with DUI and five (5) related traffic offenses. An outstanding warrant was found, issued from the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office. He was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking.

S 20TH ST – LEBANON
Traffic stop for an expired or dead registration plate; a 29 year old Lebanon woman was cited for Driver’s required to be Licensed, registration and Certificate of Title Required, Unauthorized Use of Registration and Required Financial Responsibility. The male owner of the vehicle was cited for Permitting Violation of Title (allowing the woman to drive the vehicle knowing it was an incorrect registration plate for the vehicle), Permitting Violation of Title (allowing an unlicensed driver to operate his vehicle), registration and Certificate of Title Required and Required Financial Responsibility. Plate was returned to PENNDOT.

Traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign; an 18 year old Schaefferstown man was charged with Small amount of Marijuana. A 15 years old female was cited for violation of the North Cornwall Township Curfew Ordinance.

ROCHERTY RD – LEBANON
A 26 year old Lebanon man and a 52 year old Reading woman were stopped at the light on Rocherty Rd at Cornwall Rd. The man thought traffic was beginning to move and struck the back of the woman. Both vehicles were driven, the woman said her shoulder was sore from the seat belt but denied EMS.

COLEBROOK RD – LEBANON
As a result of a Hit and Run accident, a 52 year old New Holland, PA man was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle/Property and Failure to Stop and Give Information or Render Aid.
A 25 year old Lebanon man was traveling southbound on Colebrook Road attempting to turn onto Lilac Lane, when a white Chevrolet Cruz pulled out from Lilac Lane and struck his vehicle on the driver side rear door, then fled from the scene.
On Friday March 22 around 1:07am in the morning, a crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 driven by a 26 year old Jonestown man, was traveling southbound on Racehorse Dr., Union Township, Lebanon County. Unit 1 was traveling approximately 40 MPH. Operator 1 failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway. Unit 1 veered west off the roadway and struck a tree, continued in the same direction, striking Unit 2, a 2010 Nissan Sentra. Unit 1 left the scene of the crash heading in a south direction for approximately a half-mile before failing to negotiate a left-hand curve, losing control and coming to a final rest in the front yard of a house on the 100 block of Racehorse Drive. Operator 1 was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact and reported no injuries as a result of this crash. No airbags were deployed in Unit 1 as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing. The Jonestown man is being charged with DUI.
