East Hanover Township
On April 8 around 20:59pm, Troopers were dispatched to Jonestown Road and SR 934 for a male subject driving a 2014 Jeep erratically. Further investigation revealed the driver, a 36 year old Waterford, NY man, to be operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was subsequently arrested in charge.
Heidelberg Township
This crash occurred on March 30 around 3:00am as Unit 1, a 2010 BMW 135i driven by an unidentified male driver, traversed off the right lane of Michters Road, Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County. Operator 1 failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway and steered Unit 1 off the right travel lane of Michters Road in an attempt to avoid striking deer on the roadway. Unit 1 subsequently struck a wooden fence before continuing over a concrete barrier and into a stream approximately 5-10 feet below the roadway. Unit 1 came in the stream wedged between two concrete barriers facing south. Unit 1 sustained disabling front-end damage to its hood, bumper, fenders, and engine compartment at its 12 o’clock position. The driver’s side airbag for Unit 1 deployed as a result of this crash. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash.
Millcreek Township
On 4/7/19 between the hours of 2:30am and 5:00am an unidentified vehicle struck a utility pole near a residence on the 100 block of Richland Ave, Millcreek Township, Lebanon County. The striking vehicle snapped the utility pole and fled the scene headed west on Richland Ave. Debris that was observed on scene identified the vehicle as a Pontiac G6 that was dark grey in color and had dark window tint. It is believe this vehicle is to have impacted the utility pole near its 3 o’clock area and passenger side rear. Anyone with information regarding this incident or vehicle’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference incident number PA2019-435619 and request Trooper Grondziowski.
North Londonderry Township
North Londonderry Township Police Department filed charges against a 67 year old Lebanon woman for her involvement in an incident which took place at Wal-Mart on April 5 around 4:10pm. The woman failed to pay for two (2) items valued at $20.80 and under-ringed an item valued at $17.42 but only pays $6.48. She was charged one (1) count of retail theft and one(1) count of retail theft- under-ringing.
