Bethel Township

This crash occurred on April 12 around 8:45am as Unit 1 was traveling West on Johns Way Dr. towards its intersection with S. Pine Grove Street. Initial impact occurred when Unit 1 struck a mailbox on the northern shoulder of the roadway. Operator 1 fled the scene without stopping or providing any information.

On April 9 around 5:14pm, a three vehicle crash occured on I-78 W, in the area of Mile Marker 7.8 Bethel Township, Lebanon County. The crash occurred as Unit 1 was traveling west on I-78. Unit 1, a 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 driven by a 28 year old New Tripoli, PA man, attempted to change lanes contacting Unit 2, a 2013 Volvo VNL 670 driven by a 53 year old Mount Sidney, PA woman, in its front driver side bumper. Unit 1 then spun in a clockwise manner striking the guide rail on the northbound shoulder. While Unit 1 was spinning in a clockwise manner it struck Unit 3, a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia driven by a 51 year old Kissimmee, FL man, in its front right bumper and fender area. Unit 1 had disabling damage after striking the guide rail. Unit 2 and 3 then moved from the crash scene and pulled off onto the northbound shoulder. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage. Unit 2 sustained minor damage. Unit 3 sustained minor damage. Operator 1 was transported to Hershey Medical Center. Operator 2 was not injured. Operator 3 was not injured. Fire and EMS helped with traffic control. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Dale Richards Towing. Operator 1 was charged with Reckless Driving.

Jackson Township

On 4/12/2019 at 7:11am, Officer Justin Summa of the Jonestown Patrol Unit, Pennsylvania State Police, was dispatched to 500 Houtztown Road, Jackson Township, Lebanon County for a report of a suspicious male who exposed his genitals to a 6th grade juvenile female at a school bus stop. It was reported that the W/N/male had on a multi-colored long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, blonde hair, and had scruff on his face. After canvassing the area, I located the man, later identified as a 34 year old male Myerstown resident, in the area of the 100 block of West Main Avenue, Myerstown Borough, and detained him. He confessed to the incident and was brought back to PSP Jonestown where charges for Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness, and Corruption of Minors were filed against him.

Jonestown Borough

In the commission of this crime sometime between2 April 10 at 11am and April 12 at 9:30am, an unknown Actor(s) used an unknown substance, possibly spray paint or chalk, to draw arrows on the asphalt in the St. Johns United Church overflow parking lot. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference incident #PA2019-460301. Asphalt parking lot at 49 W. Queen Street damage valued at $50.
