Jackson Township

This incident occurred April 17 around 12:14am as the victim left her cell phone in the restroom while working at a business on W Lincoln Ave. Unknown female actor entered the bathroom and removed the cell phone. The actor then walked toward Myerstown borough fleeing the scene. This investigation will continue. Stolen: Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, Value $100

On April 17 at 9:52am, Unit 1, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala, was traveling east on Colonial Ave and Unit #2 was traveling south on College St. Operator #1 was stopped at the stop sign, attempting to make a right turn. Operator #2, operating a tractor trailer, began to make a left turn onto Colonial Ave. While Operator #2 was making the left turn, Operator #1 backed up in order to provide more turning room to Unit #2. Initial impact occurred as Operator #1 backed into the cab of Unit #2. Unit #1 had minor damage to the driver side rear bumper area, and Unit #2 had minor scrapes to the driver side front fender area. There were no injuries and both Units were able to be driven from the scene. Both operators were wearing seat belts and there were no airbag deployments.

Jonestown Borough

On 4/4/19 between 8:30am and 4:00pm, an unknown actor(s) used a pellet gun to shoot out the rear window of the victim’s Toyota Tundra truck. The truck was parked, unoccupied along West Market Street, Jonestown Borough. Neighbors were interviewed and no suspects were developed. Swatara Township

On April 7 at Grace Ave and Apple Lane, PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle was observed without properly displaying its inspection sticker. A passenger of the vehicle, 46 year old Steven Pensel of Myerstown, provided false identification to Troopers. A subsequent consent search of the vehicle yielded suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, all of which belonged to Pensel. Pensel was taken into custody and charged accordingly with MDJ 522-3-03. Involved: 1993 Chevrolet Astro Van
