Pennsylvania State Police Troop L has announced that its Memorial Day Holiday Enforcement period will run midnight Friday May 24 to midnight Monday May 27.
During this period, Pennsylvania State Police will conduct Selective Traffic Enforcement Against Drunk Drivers (STEADD) and together with Drug Recognition Experts, Troopers will focus on apprehending motorists operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
During last year’s Memorial Day Holiday Traffic Enforcement period, 39 DUI arrests were made across Berks, Lebanon, and Schuylkill Counties.
