City of Lebanon

A 47 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 7-03-19 at 2100 hours on the 100 block of S. 8th Street.

A charge of Criminal Mischief has been filed against a 27 year old Lebanon man after an investigation into damage to the victim’s vehicle. The damage occurred on 5-22-19 at 1917 hours on the 100 block of N. 14th Street. Total loss to the victim is $1,200.

Jessy Miller a 33 year old Annville resident has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunkenness and Olivia Bonilla a 22 year old with no permanent address has been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after contact with police on7-04-19 at 0158 hours on the 100 block of N. Chapel Street. Miller and Bonilla were transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. Miller was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $2,500 bail and Bonilla was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Julian Vasquez a 26 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Persons Not to Possess a Firearm, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Discharging a Firearm Prohibited and Mykal Dubose a 19 year old Brooklyn NY resident has been charged with False Identification to Law Enforcement and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana after an incident on 7-03-19 at 2211 hours on the 400 block of Chestnut Street. Vasquez is accused of discharging a 9 MM handgun and possessing marijuana. A witness identified Vasquez as the person that fired the handgun. Vasquez is a felon not to possess a firearm. Dubose was stopped with Vasquez, police allege he provided an identification other than his own and also possessed marijuana. Expended casings were recovered from the scene but the handgun was not recovered. Police allege Vasquez and Dubose were walking in a group of about 8 individuals when he pointed the gun in the air and discharged it. No one was injured as a result of this incident. Vasquez and Dubose were transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. Vasquez was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail and Dubose was incarcerated at LCCF on $2,500 bail. A third person Malik Sloan a 20 year old Reading resident was incarcerated at LCCF after it was determined he had a warrant for his arrest through Berks County Probation.

North Londonderry Township

A 43 year old Palmyra man was cited on July 3 at 11:20am for violation of the Township Nuisance ordinance after he allowed between 20 and 30 bags of garbage to accumulate on the property he had previously been warned to remove the garbage.

On July 4 at 6:06am a vehicle driven by a 20 year old Palmyra man struck a deer crossing the roadway. His car sustained serious damage and had to be towed.

On July 3 at 12:31pm, a 20 year old Hummelstown woman was looking at her GPS when she struck the rear of a 24 year old Hershey woman’s vehicle that was stopped for traffic. The Hummelstown woman was cited for Careless Driving.

Swatara Township

This one vehicle crash occurred at mile marker 93.3 on I-81 on July 3 at 5:32pm as Unit #1, a 2001 Ford F350 driven by a 29 year old Unadilla, NY man, was traveling southbound on I-81, Swatara Twp., Lebanon Co. Unit #1 was traveling in the left lane. The front driver side tire on Unit #1 blew out while traveling, causing Operator #1 to lose control of Unit #1. Unit #1 crossed over the left shoulder of the roadway and traveled into the center grass median. Unit #1 then rolled over clockwise and came to final rest back on its 4 tires facing south, partially on the left shoulder. Operator #1 reported no injuries, and the passenger reported minor injuries but refused medical transportation. Unit #1 was towed from the scene.

Union Township

In the commission of this crime on July 3 at 1:02pm a traffic stop was attempted on the Accused, Michael Wenrich, a 37 year old Lebanon man, for an expired registration of his motorcycle, a 2006 Honda. The Accused failed to stop and took off at a high rate of speed. A pursuit was initiated as the Accused fled North on SR72 at speeds in the excess of 100 MPH. The pursuit continued on to I-81 N. for several miles. The pursuit was discontinued near exit 100 due to safety concerns.

Follow-up investigation was conducted in which the Accused was identified as the operator of the motorcycle. A felony arrest warrant charging the Accused with Fleeing and Eluding (F3), Reckless Endangerment (M2), Driving While DUI Suspended (M3), and multiple traffic violations, was signed by MDJ Wolfe on 7/5/2019.

Information was received that the Accused was located in Washington Twp., Schuylkill Co. Upon arrival at that location the Accused attempted to flee on foot in to the wood line. The Accused was taken in to custody after a short foot pursuit. The Accused’s motorcycle from the pursuit was also located at the scene. The Accused was transported to MDJ Wolfe’s office where he was arraigned on $25,000 monetary bail.
