Here are the most recent food safety violations in Lebanon County, as documented by Pennsylvania’s Department of Agriculture.

Inspections are taken as a “snapshot” of the day and time, and should not necessarily be taken as overall indicators of an establishment’s cleanliness. Violations are often corrected prior to the inspector leaving the site. Restaurants were found to be in compliance unless otherwise noted.

Beef was held at 48°F, in the bain marie, rather than 41°F or below as required. Discarded beef. Adjusted the temperature of the unit.

4 – 904.11 Kitchenware and Tableware, Preventing Contamination
Tableware for customer self-service is not displayed so that only handles are touched by consumers and employees.

5 – 501.115 Maintaining Refuse Areas and Enclosures
Area around the exterior grease collection drums is not clean.

3 – 302.11 Packaged and Unpackaged Food-Separation, Packaging & Segregation
Fried ready to eat noodles were being held in a cardboard carton. Discarded noodles.

Raw fish was stored above diced onions in one reach-in refrigerator. Discarded onions.

A rack for draining/drying clean equipment is pitted and rusted and no longer easily cleaned.

One under-counter refrigeration unit was at 56 °F, rather than 41°F or below as required. Items in unit were non-TCS foods and owner reported that the unit is to be removed.

Outside dumpster lids were not closed.

  1. Is there a way to find someone to check out the meals at Ceder Haven. I know people in there and the food is awful. these people need nutritious meals not grilled cheese 5,days in a row some burnt. They never give them fruit for weeks at a time. They have enough health issues food should not be one of them
