Details were released earlier this week regarding a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on October 18 in North Londonderry Township.

According to the release by North Londonderry Township Police, the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. last Friday, October 18. Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Forge Road for an accident with injuries.

Upon arrival, police discovered a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle that had been involved in a crash. The operator of the motorcycle, 36-year-old Noel Quintana of Annville, was found to be deceased on arrival. The vehicle driver and passengers were not injured, according to the release.

The vehicle driver, a 49-year-old Lebanon woman, told police that she had been traveling south on S. Forge Road when the motorcycle, traveling north, initiated a passing maneuver on another vehicle traveling north. The motorcycle impacted the front-left of the vehicle, according to the release.

The Lebanon County Accident Reconstruction Team assisted with the investigation at the scene. An impact location was identified in the southbound travel lane, but as of earlier this week, the investigation was still ongoing.

Police have not yet identified the driver of the vehicle the motorcycle attempted to pass and are looking to speak with them. North Londonderry Township Police can be reached at (717) 838-5276.
