Cornwall Borough Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 8, at about 2:30 p.m., on the section of the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail between the Alden Place parking lot along SR 117 and the trail’s intersection with Overlook Drive in The Woods at Cornwall Manor.

Police said in a press release that a woman walking on the trail was approached by a man who said to her, “You’re attractive, I would like to get to know you better.”

The man then attempted to put his arms around the woman. She fled and was not injured.

The man is described as white, in his 30’s, 5’9″ tall, slight stature, thin build, dark hair, and wearing very large dark sunglasses. He was wearing blue jeans and a short, dark jacket with the hood up.

Anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw a man matching this description, or who has information that can help identify the subject, is asked to contact Cornwall Borough Police at 717-274-2071.
