The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a million dollar ticket was sold at the Lebanon Weis (800 S. 12th St).
The ticket, a winning entry in the scratch-off $1 Million Cash Blowout, was sold for $20 at the Lebanon supermarket, which will now receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
If you might be the lucky winner, check your ticket at a lottery retailer or download the official app to validate that way. Lottery officials advise that winners should immediately sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481, and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.
The prize must be claimed within one year of when the game ends, a date which has not yet been announced.
The odds of purchasing a $1,000,000 ticket were 1 in 1,080,000. Five total million dollar tickets are available, so if you want to have some fun and support Pennsylvania’s older residents, head on over to the Pennsylvania Lottery website for more information.
An earlier version of this post indicated that Weis is in North Cornwall Township. That was not accurate, the store is located in the City of Lebanon. We regret the error.
