Bethel Township

On Jan. 28 at 5:16 p.m. at Beagle Rd and Zartman Ln, PSP Jonestown contacted Jeffrey Houtz, a 39-year-old Lebanon man, who had an active warrant for his arrest. Houtz was detained and found to be in possession of controlled substances and related paraphernalia. Houtz was transported to central booking. Charges were filed accordingly. East Hanover Township

This crash occurred on Feb. 4 at 3:29 p.m. on Interstate 81 South at mile marker 85.5, East Hanover Township, Lebanon County. Operator 2 was traveling south in Unit 2, a 2009 Toyota Corolla, on Interstate 81 when Unit 2 was struck from the rear by Unit 1, a 2018 Nissan NV3500. Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its front passenger side bumper and tire at the 1 o’clock position as a result of this crash and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained mild damage to its rear bumper, fenders, and trunk at the 12 o’clock position as a result of this crash and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 2 and Passenger 1 of Unit 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited with PA VC 3310 (Following Too Closely).

North Cornwall Township

On Feb. 2 at 8:03 p.m. police were called for an incident at Lebanon Treatment Center, 3030 Chestnut Street. Police cited a 27-year-old Hanover woman and a 25-year-old Hanover woman for disorderly conduct for engaging in a physical altercation inside the facility.

William Burk – age 45 – Union City, IN, was charged with terroristic threats, recklessly endangering and criminal mischief after an incident that involved a police stand-off at the Hampton Inn, 1601 E. Cumberland Street, on February 1,

Javier Rodriguez Toro – age 43, Lebanon
Abidait Rodriguez-Castro – age 39, Lebanon
Subjects were charged after an incident at the Lebanon Wal-Mart on January 31, after failing to pay for merchandise totaling $224.

Simple Assault
Miguel Torres-Torres – Age 38, Lebanon was charged with simple assault after an incident that occurred on February 1, at his residence.

Joel Vazquez-Mulero – age 37 – No address – was charged with simple assault after an incident that occurred at Wal-Mart on November 2.

Sexual Assault
Mark Wagner – age 21 – Lebanon was charged with sexual assault charges in connection with an incident that occurred August 2019, at his residence.

North Londonderry Township

On Feb. 7 at 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Fir St. and Grant St., the North Londonderry Township PD investigated a vehicle accident in which a vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Annville man struck the rear of a vehicle operated by a 22-year-old Palmyra man. There were no injuries and the vehicles were driven from the scene. The Annville man was cited with Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds.

South Lebanon Township

On Feb. 3 at 6:22 p.m. the Pennsylvania State Police conducted a traffic stop on Prescott Road, north of East King Street in South Lebanon Township. During the course of the traffic stop, marijuana and paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle. The operator of the vehicle, Caleb Waltermyer, a 20-year-old Richland man, has been charged accordingly.

Swatara Township

On Feb. 2 at 1:55 a.m., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on the 1900 block of SR 22. The operator of the vehicle, Christine Brandt, a 45-year-old Lebanon woman, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed accordingly with MDJ 52-3-03. Involved: 2015 Mitsubishi

On Feb. 6 at 6:18 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2002 Nissan Xterra driven by a 72-year-old Lebanon man, was traveling northbound on SR 72 and stopped in the northbound travel lane to make a left turn. Unit 1, a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country driven by a 30-year-old Lebanon man, was traveling northbound behind Unit 2. Unit 1 observed Unit 2 stopped and attempting a left turn. Unit 1 was not able to stop and rear ended Unit 2 in the northbound lane of SR 72. Unit 2 overturned onto its roof after initial impact and came to final rest off of the southbound side of the roadway overturned on its roof. Unit 1 came to final rest in the northbound lane of SR 72, just north of initial impact. Both units sustained disabling damage and the operator of Unit 2 was transported to Hershey Medical Center for injuries sustained from the crash. Assisted at the scene by Bunker Hill Fire Company, First Aid and Safety Patrol, and Joe Mays Towing.

Union Township

On Feb. 6 at 10:03 p.m. at SR 72 and Everest Lane, State Police responded to the Speedway Gas Station at 1 Lickdale Road for the report of an unruly subject. Upon arrival, the subject, a 28-year-old Jonestown woman, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was removed from the above location. Charges of public drunkenness pending.

A 30-year-old Newmanstown man was charged with harassment at District Justice Verna’s office for a physical argument that occurred with a 36-year-old Richland woman on Feb. 6 at their residence.
