On March 14, 2020 at 10:55 p.m., PSP-Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on Sugar Rd., north of W. Main St. Troopers observed an odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle during the traffic stop. A probable cause search was conducted and yielded a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The passenger had an active NCIC warrant and was taken into custody based on his warrants. The operator, a 19 year old Fredericksburg man, will be charged accordingly.
City of Lebanon
A Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 3-17-20 at 2228 hours at 9th and Chestnut Streets.
A 42 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 3-15-20 at 0306 hours on the 900 block of Cumberland Street.
A 40 year old Manheim man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 3-07-20 at 0554 hours on the 400 block of East Walnut Street.
Blake Esterly a 27 year old Newmanstown resident has been charged with a Protection From Abuse Order violation on 3-14-20 at 0812 hours on the 600 block of N. 10th Street. Esterly is accused of attempting contact with the 31 year old victim at her residence, which is a violation of the PFA. He was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Anthony Miles a 40 year old with no permanent address has been charged with Operation of Vehicle Without an Official Certificate of Inspection, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a traffic stop on 3-13-20 at 2129 hours on the 1400 block of Cumberland Street. Miles was also arrested for having multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned by MDJ Anthony Verna. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail on the drug charges.
Charges of Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct have been filed against Ewin Paulino-Alvarado 20 years old, Mijares Pimentel 19 years old, Leonardo Rodriguez-Rodriguez 20 years old and Aneudi Velez-Ortiz 18 years old all Lebanon residents after investigation into a fight that occurred on 2-18-20 at 1627 hours on the 300 block of N. 9th Street.
Paul Ball a 52 year old Washington, PA resident has been charged with Retail Theft on 3-18-20 at 1835 hours at 2 Cumberland Street. Ball is accused of taking merchandise from the store for a total loss of $39.97. Ball was charged with a misdemeanor offense due to a previous offense of retail theft. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
East Hanover Township
On March 16, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., a traffic stop of Kiersten Swisher, a 20 year old Jonestown woman, conducted by member of PSP-Jonestown yielded the seizure of THC cartridges and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident have been filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-04.
On March 22, 2020 at 6:03 a.m., criminal/simple trespass occurred as two unknown males walked onto Martin Rd. and looked through the window to the building. The unknown actors grabbed the doorknob before fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was a 52 year old Newmanstown man.
On March 22, 2020 at 11:52 a.m., PSP Jonestown Troopers responded to E. Stoever Ave. for a report of a disturbance between neighbors, a 38 year old Myerstown woman and a 38 year old Myerstown man. This incident is under investigation.
North Lebanon Township
Robbery – Irwing Perez – age 21 – No address – was charged with robbery, criminal trespass, and retail theft after an incident that occurred on March 17, 2020, at the USA Fuel & Food, 1999 E. Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Retail Theft – Barron Strauch – age 43 – No address – was charged with retail theft, resisting arrest and false identification after an incident that occurred on March 16, at the Lebanon Wal-Mart.
Possession of Marijuana – David Roscos – age 41 – 912 Willow Lane – was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after an incident that occurred at his residence in December 2019.
South Londonderry Township
On Jan. 15, 2020 at 10:44 p.m., a 24 year old Lebanon man was charged with disorderly conduct and driving while suspended following a traffic stop on the above date.
