Annville Township

Multi-Vehicle Accident – On April 17, 2020 at 4:30 p.m., Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 78 year old Annville woman, and Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 21 year old Lebanon man, were involved in a multi-car crash on the 400 block of East Main St. The crash occurred when Unit 1 pulled from an alley onto East Main St., failing to yield to oncoming traffic, striking Unit 2 which was traveling westbound. Unit 1 then struck a road sign and an unoccupied parked vehicle on the north side of the roadway then veered across the street into a yard of a residence causing minor property damage.

Two-Vehicle Accident – On April 23, 2020 at 1:25 p.m., Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 25 year old Jonestown man, and Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 54 year old Annville woman, were involved in a two-vehicle crash on the 700 block of East Main St. The accident occurred when Unit 1 pulled from the parking lot of a business and drove into the path of Operator 2 who was riding a motorcycle traveling east on East Main St. Operator 2 was transported to the Hershey Medical Center for injuries received in the crash. Operator 1 was cited by Annville Police for failing to yield the right-of-way.

Harassment – On May 1, 2020, Annville Police filed summary Harassment charges against a 19 year old Annville woman. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 19, 2020 at 3:20 p.m. when it was alleged that she physically assaulted a 15 year old female in the 400-500 blocks of Palm City Park. in South Annville Twp.

Bethel Township

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On May 2, 2020 at 1:38 p.m., PSP Jonestown Troopers responded to Frystown Rd. for a reported criminal mischief. The Victim was a 41 year old Fredericksburg woman. The Victim’s passenger side window to her vehicle was vandalized. This incident is under investigation.

Heidelberg Township

Suspicious Activity – On April 21, 2020 at 10:28 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the 0 block of Century Ln. for the report of a suspicious person inside the abandoned residence. Troopers cleared the house with no signs of anyone inside. The victim was a 55 year old Lititz woman.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On May 2, 2020 at 1:49 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2013 Honda CRV, driven by Operator 1, Christopher Perhonitch, a 40 year old Lebanon man, was traveling eastbound on SR 422 when Operator 1 was traveling too fast for conditions causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 traveled out of control and left the right lane of travel into the grass shoulder where Unit 1 impacted a tree. Operator 1 was pronounced deceased at the scene due to the injuries sustained in the crash. (Editor’s note: Name included as this was a fatal crash.)

Dog Law Violation – On May 1, 2020 at 1:31 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Bayberry Ct. for a dog law violation, where one dog was bitten by another. This incident is under investigation.

Lebanon City

Disorderly Conduct – A 33 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music) on April 5, 2020 at 4:55 p.m. on the 800 block of Locust St.

Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct – A 51 year old man with no permanent address has been cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct on April 24, 2020 at 12:15 p.m. on the 600 block of Quentin Rd.

Harassment – A 39 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on April 25, 2020 at 6:46 p.m. on the 400 block of South 6th St.

Substance Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Park Rules and Regulations have been filed against Aleishka Perez-Silva, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, after being found in a City Park after the park was closed. Police allege she possessed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. This incident occurred on April 23, 2020 at 1:10 a.m. at Washington St. and South 13th St.

Substance Possession – Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Harrison Smiley, a 23 year old North Lebanon Twp. resident, after police assisted Lebanon County Probation Officers on April 23, 2020 at 2:18 p.m. on the 1300 block of Church St.

Simple Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children – Hosna Eissawy, a 46 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) 2 counts and Endangering the Welfare of Children after an incident on April 25, 2020 at 3:34 p.m. on the 300 block of North Harrison St. Eissawy is accused of striking an 18 year old and an 11 year old with a broom handle causing injury to both victims. Eissawy was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On April 30, 2020 at 1:46 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 1, a 47 year old Lynn, MA man, was traveling south on I-81 South, north of mile marker 87.9 in the right lane of travel. As Unit 1 was traveling south on I-81 South, Unit 1 lost control of its trailer. At this time, the trailer to Unit 1 slid clockwise as Unit 1 traveled into the left lane of travel. Unit 1 traveled off the left side of I-81 South at mile marker 87.9 impacting a ditch with the 11 o’clock position on the vehicle, knocking the front bumper to Unit 1 off the vehicle. The trailer to Unit 1 struck Unit 1 at the 9 o’clock position. Unit 1 came to final rest off the left side of I-81 South at mile marker 87.8 facing southwest with the trailer to Unit 1 facing north. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle Accident – On May 2, 2020 at 1:25 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2014 Nissan Altima, driven by Operator 1, a 33 year old Allentown woman, was traveling west on I-78 in the area of mile marker 1.3. Operator 1 related she was traveling in the left lane on I-78 when another vehicle cut in front of Unit 1. Initial impact occurred when Operator 1 swerved off the left shoulder and struck a guard rail. Unit 1 received moderate damage and had to be towed from the scene. Glenn’s Towing assisted with towing Unit 1 from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Within a Single Lane. Operator 1 received injury to her wrist during the crash. Operator 1 was transported by Life Lion to the Good Samaritan Hospital.

Theft – On May 1, 2020 at approximately 6:44 p.m., troopers from PSP Jonestown were dispatched to the 2000 block of SR 72 for a theft in progress. Upon arrival on scene, troopers learned that a male and female arrived on scene in a white in color, newer model, four-door sedan. While on scene, the male Actor exited the white sedan and attempted to steal wheels from another vehicle that was parked on the Victim’s property. The Victim was a 74 year old Bernville woman. While being confronted by a neighbor, the Actors then fled the scene heading north on SR 72.
The male Actor is described as a white male with glasses, approximately 5’11-6’0 tall. He is described as being stocky/heavier set build with short brown hair and brown beard. He was last seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. The female Actor is described as white or possibly Hispanic with her hair styled in a ponytail.
