Jackson Township
Harassment – On Aug. 4, 2020 at 3:12 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers were dispatched to the 00 block of Laurel Dr. for a report of a physical domestic between a male and a female. The male fled the scene prior to PSP arrival. Investigation revealed that the male grabbed and bit the female victim during the altercation. One charge of Harassment was filed on the male. The Arrestee was a 46 year old Myerstown man. The Victim was a 35 year old Myerstown woman. Charge is pending before MDJ Verna 52-3-01.
Vehicle Accident – On June 5, 2020 at 7:08 a.m., this crash occurred as the suspected Unit 1 was traveling east on Stracks Dam Rd. near its intersection with East Stracks Dr. The suspected Unit 1 was traveling at an unknown speed, when it left the roadway and struck a utility pole located on the south shoulder of the roadway. The suspected Unit 1 then fled in an unknown direction.
Drug Possession – On July 20, 2020 at 1:20 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers contacted Patrick Boyle, a 27 year old Muhlenberg man, and Alexander Strahn, a 33 year old Hamburg man, in a 1999 Honda on the 400 block of Weavertown Rd. Upon a probable cause search of the above vehicle, the above males were found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine paraphernalia. Charges are pending.
Jonestown Borough
Prohibited Offensive Weapons – Aug. 4, 2020 at 3:52 p.m., on the 100 block of East Market St., PSP Jonestown was assisting Lebanon County Parole with contacting the Arrestee, Justin Myers, a 37 year old Jonestown man. Inside of the residence, there was a prohibited weapon as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. PSP is investigating.
Myerstown Borough
Drug Possession – On July 21, 2020 at 5:41 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to 100 block of West Main Ave. for a report of a male asleep in a car, a 2005 Chevrolet. Upon investigation, it was determined that the male was in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Charges are to be filed.
Union Township
Theft – On Aug. 4, 2020 at 2:30 p.m., this incident occurred as the Victim, a 22 year old Lebanon man, had received a voicemail from an unknown Actor. He spoke with an unknown Actor via telephone and the Actor told him to purchase four Target gift cards, valued in total at $2,000.00, to which he did. The Victim provided the unknown Actor with the card numbers.
Vehicle Accident – On June 4, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2013 Peterbilt TR, driven by Operator 1, a 34 year old New York, NY man, and Unit 2, a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, driven by Operator 2, a 39 year old Hershey man, were traveling south on I 81 near mile marker 87.9. Unit 2 began to slow and pulled off onto the left shoulder of the roadway when it was struck from behind by Unit 1. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in its driver’s side rear end with its passenger’s side front cab. After impact, Unit 1 traveled off the left side of the roadway and came to rest facing south in the median and Unit 2 spun in a counter-clockwise direction and came to rest facing east off the left shoulder. There were no injuries as a result of this crash.
