Applications to fill the vacancy on the Lebanon City Council will now be accepted until noon Monday.

Council will ultimately select who fills the vacancy, left by Amy Keller, a term lasting until January 2022.

The extension was announced by the city in a release Friday. Application packages consisting of a letter of interest and a resume or CV must arrive or be taken to the following address by noon on Monday, Oct. 12:

Applicants will be interviewed at a public meeting at the Municipal Building on Oct. 13 at 4 p.m. followed by voting to fill the seat at a special meeting scheduled for Oct. 22 at 4:45 p.m.
