City of Lebanon

DUI, Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended Or Revoked – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or a Controlled Substance, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, Driving at Safe Speed, Driving on Right Side of Roadway, and Period For Required Lighted Lamps have been filed against Kiindu Matthews, a 40 year old West Lebanon Twp. resident, after a traffic stop on Sept. 20, 2020 at 1:53 a.m. Matthews refused to submit to blood testing.

Harassment – A Harassment citation has been filed against a 23 year old Lebanon man after an incident on Nov. 14, 2020 at 7:44 p.m. on the 1,100 block of Mifflin St.

Disorderly Conduct With A Motor Vehicle – A 42 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct with a Motor Vehicle (loud music) on Nov. 13, 2020 at 3:00 at 10th St. and Willow St.

Disorderly Conduct With A Motor Vehicle – A 26 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct with a Motor Vehicle (loud music) on Nov. 13, 2020 at 12:25 p.m. at 10th St. and Willow St.

Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been filed against Jordan Reese, a 23 year old Cleona resident, after contact with police on Oct. 21, 2020 at 1:44 p.m. on the 300 block of South Gannon St.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Matthew Breitner, a 30 year old South Lebanon Twp. resident, after a traffic stop on Nov. 17, 2020 at 9:28 p.m. on the 800 block of Cumberland St. Breitner was incarcerated at LCCF on Lebanon County Bench Warrants.

Disorderly Conduct – A 22 year old Palmyra man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Nov. 19, 2020 at 6:38 p.m. on the 500 block of Cumberland St.

Retail Theft – A 52 year old Jonestown man has been cited for Retail Theft after an incident on Nov. 3, 2020 at 12:40 p.m. on the 800 block of South 12th St. Slack is accused of taking merchandise in the amount of $63.48 without paying for said items.

Harassment – A 45 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Nov. 11, 2020 at 11:15 p.m. on the 1,100 block of Reinoehl St.

Escape, Drug Possession, Tampering With Or Fabricating Evidence – Charges of Escape, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence have been filed against Alexis Nunez-Rios, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, after an incident on Sept. 22, 2020 at 4:26 a.m. at 5th St. and Cumberland St. Nunez is accused of possessing a smoking device, smashing it on the ground, then fleeing on foot from police after being detained by police. Nunez was not apprehended and a warrant for his arrest has been requested.

Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Joseph Anderson, a 49 year old with no permanent address. Anderson was released to a medical facility after contact with police on Sept. 12, 2020 at 9:43 p.m. on the 00 block of South 10th St. A warrant will be issued for his arrest.

Simple Assault – Nelson Camacho, a 50 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on Nov. 15, 2020 at 6:31 p.m. on the 800 block of Cornwall Rd. Camacho is accused of punching the 33 year old Victim and causing injury to his face. Camacho was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail. As a result of the same incident, a Simple Assault charge has been filed against Hector Ortiz-Erazo, a 34 year old Lebanon resident.

Receiving Stolen Property – A charge of Receiving Stolen Property has been filed against a 29 year old Lebanon man after investigation into a theft which occurred on Oct. 15, 2020 at 9:41 p.m. on the 1000 block of Lehman St. He is accused of possessing the stolen items belonging to the Victim. Total loss to the Victim is $55.00. The charges were later dismissed.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Mykel Darienzo, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Nov. 11, 2020 at 6:35 p.m. on the 600 block of South 7th St.

Retail Theft, Theft – Retail Theft and Theft charges have been filed against Dion Gerena, a 32 year old North Cornwall Twp. resident, after investigation into theft incidents occurring between Aug. 28, 2020 and Sept. 14, 2020 at various times on the 700 block of South 12th St. Gerena is accused of “under ringing” items a total of 19 times and ringing “no sales” on the cash register a total of 42 times. Total loss to the merchant is $5,324.30.

Drug Possession, Disorderly Conduct – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Disorderly Conduct have been filed against Joseph Anderson, a 49 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Sept. 17, 2020 at 9:33 a.m. at 7th St. and Cumberland St.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Daniel McElwee, a 24 year old Grantville resident, after contact with police on Nov. 7, 2020 at 10:41 a.m. at North 4th St. and Mifflin St. McElwee had a Lebanon County Bench Warrant for his arrest. He was transported to LCCB and incarcerated at LCCF on the warrant.

Cleona Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 22, 2020 at 3:00 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 422 Eastbound approximately 100 yards west of Cherry St. in Cleona Boro. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling eastbound on SR 422 when it exited its lane of travel and struck Unit 2, a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Operator 2, which was legally parked on the south shoulder of the roadway. It is unknown if Unit 1 sustained any damage as a result of this crash. It is unknown if Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 fled the scene of this crash in Unit 1. Unit 2 sustained minor damage as a result of this crash. Unit 2 was unoccupied at the time of this crash.

Jackson Township

Theft – On Nov. 19, 2020 at 1:02 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to West Lincoln Ave. for a report of a theft. Fraudulent purchases were made through the Victim’s personal bank. The Victim was a 30 year old Myerstown woman. Investigation is ongoing.

Theft Of Services – Between Nov. 1, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. and Nov. 18, 2020 at 4:00 a.m., this incident occurred on various dates and times between the ones listed above. Unknown Actor(s) entered the property on West Lincoln Ave., throwing numerous items of garbage in the dumpsters. The unknown Actor(s) then fled the scene in various vehicles in an unknown direction of travel. The Victim was Finish Line 2 Car Wash in Myerstown.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On Nov. 19, 2020 at 10:38 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 00 block of Golf Rd. in Jackson Twp. for a reported criminal mischief. Upon arrival, it was determined that the Arrestee broke the Victim’s basement window while trying to make contact with his girlfriend (Victim’s adult daughter). The Arrestee was cited for Criminal Mischief. The Arrestee was a 30 year old Myerstown man. The Victim was a 59 year old Myerstown man. Charges are pending before MDJ Verna 52-3-01.

Commercial Burglary – On Nov. 22, 2020 at 12:51 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station responded to West Lincoln Ave. for a report of a burglary. It was determined that the unknown Actor(s) gained entry through the rear entrance and stole electronic receivers. The Actor(s) then fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown station. The Victims were a 45 year old Carlisle man and Recycle Local in Lebanon.

Jonestown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 20, 2020 at 6:08 p.m., this crash occurred on the 200 block of Rose Ln. in Jonestown Boro. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 1, was traveling east along Rose Ln. Unit 2, a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 2, was parked along the right shoulder of Rose Ln. Unit 1 struck Unit 2. Both vehicles were able to be driven under their own power. Operator 1 was transported via Penn State Life Lion for an apparent minor injury.

Theft – This incident occurred as an unknown Actor entered a joint storage closet at South Lancaster St., removing three boxes of Christmas decorations and ornaments owned by the Victim, sometime between Jan. 1, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. and Nov. 22, 2020 at 11:43 a.m. The Victim was a 35 year old Jonestown woman. The stolen property included three boxes of assorted Christmas ornaments and decorations, valued at $400.00.

Myerstown Borough

Suicide – Between Nov. 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. and Nov. 19, 2020 at 3:44 p.m., on the 00 block of South Cherry St., PSP Jonestown responded to conduct a death investigation. The Victim was an 89 year old Myerstown man. The investigation continues.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – On Nov. 21, 2020 at approximately 12:58 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers initiated a traffic stop on Ebenezer Rd. and Old Ebenezer Rd. on a silver 2006 BMW 325i for multiple traffic violations. Upon making contact with the vehicle occupants, the front Passenger (Arrestee) was determined to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The Arrestee was a 28 year old Lebanon woman. Charges are pending before MDJ Wolfe 52-3-03.

Swatara Township

Criminal Trespass – On Nov. 13, 2020 at approximately 2:58 p.m., this incident occurred as an unknown male entered the property on Cemetery Rd., which is posted as private property. The unknown male was captured on a trail camera owned by the Victim. The unknown male then fled the property by unknown means in an unknown direction of travel. The Victim was a 34 year old Jonestown woman.

Residential Burglary – On Nov. 14, 2020, sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., this incident occurred on Kenbrook Rd. The Suspect entered the Victim’s residence, removing a blow gun and $338.00. The Suspect then fled the scene in a small sedan in an unknown direction of travel. The Victim was a 47 year old Lebanon man. The property stolen included a Cold Steel Big Bore .625 Magnum Blow Gun, valued at $50.00, and $338.00 in cash, valued at $338.00. Investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle Accident – This hit and run crash occurred on the 200 block of Irene Dr. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred between Nov. 20, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. and Nov. 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Unit 2, a 2008 Toyota Sequoia, driven by Operator 2, a 41 year old Jonestown man, was struck by an unknown vehicle at the 10 o’clock position. Unit 2 sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, is an unknown make and model. Operator 1 was cited for Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property. PSP is investigating.

Union Township

Drug Possession – On Nov. 13, 2020 at 8:50 p.m., PSP conducted a traffic stop on a black 2006 Mercedes-Benz on Yingst Dr., approximately 100 feet north of Jonestown Rd. in Union Twp. for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed that an unnamed female driver was driving under the influence of, and in possession of, a controlled substance. The vehicles involved included a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230. PSP is investigating.
