City of Lebanon
Drug Possession – On Jan. 21, 2021 at 1:20 a.m., troopers from PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop at North 5th St. and Scull St. The Arrestee was taken into custody for DUI and charged accordingly. The Arrestee was Nathanael Pagan-Rios, a 28 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a 1999 Honda Accord Accord Crosstour.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 5, 2021 at 6:15 a.m., this reportable crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 1, a 45 year old Richland man, was traveling west on Reistville Rd., attempting to turn right onto Prescott Rd. and Unit 2, a 2005 Hino Box Truck, driven by Operator 2, a 63 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south on Prescott Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. Operator 1 was unable to properly negotiate a righthand curve and continued traveling west into Unit 2, causing a head-on collision. Initial impact occurred as the front bumper of Unit 1 struck the front left bumper of Unit 2. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and refused EMS transport. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Millcreek Township
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 5, 2021 at 8:21 a.m., this reportable crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 1, a 20 year old Ephrata woman, was facing East Church Rd., attempting to cross SR 419 and Unit 2, a 2009 Honda Accord, driven by Operator 2, Nicole Daniels, a 26 year old Reading woman, was traveling north on SR 419 in Millcreek Twp. Operator 1 failed to yield to oncoming traffic and attempted to cross the roadway in front of Unit 2, causing a collision. Initial impact occurred as the front bumper of Unit 2 struck the front right bumper of Unit 1. Unit 1 came to final rest. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway.
Myerstown Borough
Firearm Sale Or Transfer – The PA State Police at Jonestown investigated the following incident: On June 2, 2020 at 1:44 p.m., this incident occurred on the 00 block of East Main Ave. as an individual entered the Enck’s Gun Barn store and attempted to purchase a firearm. The Suspect was denied the purchase due to his criminal history.
Overdose – On Feb. 8, 2021 at 7:23 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to West Main Ave. for a report of a potential drug overdose. PSP Jonestown is investigating.
North Annville Township
Harassment – On Feb. 7, 2021 at 9:45 a.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station responded to SR 934 North for a report of a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that a physical domestic dispute occurred between both parties. Both parties were cited via NTC for Harassment. The Victims/Arrestees were a 50 year old Annville man and a 47 year old Annville woman.
North Cornwall Township
DUI – On Feb. 8, 2021 at 1:37 a.m., on the 2,500 block of West Cumberland St., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown found the vehicle Operator to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges for this incident are pending forensic blood analysis results. The vehicles involved included a 2016 Nissan Murano.
South Lebanon Township
Harassment By Prisoner – The PA State Police at Jonestown investigated the following incident: On Dec. 30, 2020 at 12:50 p.m., this incident occurred on East Walnut St. It was reported that an argument between two inmates led to one inmate throwing a liquid suspected to be urine at another inmate. No charges were filed due to the Victim not wanting to cooperate. The Victim was a 51 year old Monroe Twp., NJ man.
Swatara Township
Sexual Assault – The PA State Police at Jonestown investigated the following incident: It was reported by the Victim that, between the years of 2003-2006, she was sexually assaulted by a family friend that lived at their residence. The Victim reported that the Suspect had forcible sexual intercourse and forcibly introduced foreign objects into her genital area. The Victim reported that the Suspect’s wife had knowledge of what was occurring and did nothing to stop it. Investigation is ongoing.
Vehicle Accident – This hit-and-run crash occurred on the 00 block of Greble Rd. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred on Feb. 4, 2021 sometime between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling west on Greble Rd. when the vehicle exited the roadway, striking a mailbox and traveling through the front yard of the residence, located on the 00 block of Greble Rd. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property. PSP Jonestown is investigating.
