Bethel Township

Drug Possession – On March 25, 2021 at 12:07 a.m., this crime occurred on East Main St. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee was in possession of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 53 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a 2001 Honda CRV.

Theft By Deception – On March 22, 2021 at 8:06 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Greenview Tractor, located at 1103 Greble Rd., to investigate a theft. The Victim reported that they had purchased two John Deere tractors from what they had thought was a legitimate company in France. The Victim paid the Actor $150,000 for the tractors and the Actor related that the tractors would be shipped via boat. When the Victim attempted to pick up the tractors in Baltimore, Maryland, it was discovered that the tractors were never shipped. After further investigation, it was determined that the Actor had made a fraudulent website and never had tractors to sell. The Actor then terminated all contact with the Victim. This will be an ongoing investigation. The Victim was Greenview Tractor in Lebanon.

Vehicle Accident – On March 27, 2021 at 4:22 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 81 Northbound in the area of mile marker 96.5 in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 1, a 73 year old Shamokin man, was traveling in the left lane and failed to negotiate a righthand curve. Operator 1 was reaching toward his passenger’s seat for an item when his vehicle left the left side of the roadway and struck the berm. Operator 1 further lost control of Unit 1, which came to final rest in the trees and shrubbery at the median of I 81 Northbound at mile marker 96.5. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Hegins Area Ambulance Association. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

City of Lebanon

Criminal Mischief – A 13 year old Lebanon male has been cited for Criminal Mischief after damaging a window to the car of the Victim on March 20, 2021 at 3:20 p.m. on the 900 block of Reinoehl St. The total loss to the Victim is $311.47.

Harassment – A 23 year old Jonestown woman has been cited for Harassment on March 19, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. on the 200 block of South 9th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 20 year old Bethlehem man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music from a vehicle) on March 20, 2021 at 3:33 a.m. at 9th St. and Cumberland St.

Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness – A 22 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness on March 21, 2021 at 9:32 a.m. at North 7th St. and Arnold St.

Public Drunkenness – A 30 year old man with no permanent address has been cited for Public Drunkenness on March 20, 2021 at 1:59 p.m. at 7th St. and Cumberland St.

Accident Involving Damage To Attended Vehicle Or Property – A charge of Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property has been filed against a 44 year old Lebanon man after being involved in a minor motor vehicle accident and leaving the scene of said accident on March 4, 2021 at 2:50 a.m. on the 100 block of South 3rd St. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.

Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Possession Of Instruments Of Crime – Jonathan Llanos-Caballer, a 36 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related), Terroristic Threats, Possession of Instruments of Crime, Resisting Arrest, and False Imprisonment after an incident on March 13, 2021 at 4:47 a.m. on the 700 block of Poplar St. Llanos-Caballer is accused of punching the 29 year old Victim and also striking her on the head with a bottle, causing injury. The Victim reported that she was restricted from leaving the resident as Llanos-Caballer is accused of preventing her from leaving as he held a knife in his hand and told her he would kill her if she left. Llanos-Caballer resisted efforts by police to arrest him, requiring several officers to safely take him into custody. Llanos-Caballer was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Arrest Prior To Requisition – Jesus Ortiz, a 34 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition (fugitive from justice) on March 13, 2021 at 4:45 p.m. on the 400 block of South 8th St. Ortiz was found to have a warrant for his arrest on Drug Charges from Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in New York. He was arraigned at LCCB by MDJ John Ditzler and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is awaiting extradition.

Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Brittani Bates, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, on March 13, 2021 at 1:20 a.m. on the 00 block of North 7th St.

Accidents Involving Death Or Personal Injury, Following Too Closely – Charges of Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury, Following Too Closely, and Duty to Give Information and Render Aid have been filed against Camden Whitman, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, after she was involved in a motor vehicle accident and fled the scene. Minor injuries were reported by the Occupants of the vehicle struck by Whitman.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Dzaire Hill, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, on March 6, 2021 at 1:34 p.m. at C & L St. and Gannon St.

Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct – Gabrel Colon, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Disorderly Conduct after an incident on March 9, 2021 at 7:03 p.m. on the 900 block of Cumberland St. Colon is accused of smashing the driver’s window and rear window of the Victim’s vehicle as well as causing damage to the body of the vehicle with a metal object. The male Victim was also struck in the arm with the object but received a minor injury. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Retail Theft – A charge of Retail Theft has been filed against a 23 year old Lebanon man after being accused of taking merchandise from a store without paying for said items. The incident occurred on March 14, 2021 at 1:52 p.m. on the 800 block of South 12th St. Total loss to the merchant is $34.28.

Person Not To Possess A Firearm, Firearms Not To Be Carried Without A License – Edwin Vazquez-Santana, a 28 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Person Not to Possess a Firearm, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after contact with police on March 20, 2021 at 12:54 a.m. on the 400 block of Spruce St. Vazquez-Santana does not have a permit to carry a concealed firearm and is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a previous Robbery arrest. He was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Jackson Township

Retail Theft – On March 27, 2021 at 12:26 p.m., State Police responded to West Lincoln Ave. for a suspicious person. Through investigation, it was discovered that the Arrestee entered the store and placed two five-hour energy drinks without paying for them. The Arrestee also cracked a plastic divider located on the countertop. The Arrestee was taken into custody and charges were prepared. The Arrestee was a 37 year old Myerstown man. The Victim was Turkey Hill Minit Markets in Myerstown. The stolen property included Five Hour Energy Drinks, valued at $7.52. The damaged property included a Plastic Countertop Divider, valued at $50.00.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 24, 2021 at 3:02 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of the 1,100 block of South Forge Rd. It was reported that Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 38 year old Palmyra man, crossed over into the oncoming traffic lane, striking Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 60 year old Palmyra man, before striking a utility pole and several mailboxes. Charges are pending.
