Work for an agency that provides valuable services to people aged 60 and older, one of the fastest growing segments of the population. A qualified candidate will have at least 3 years aging care mgmt. experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Provide Protective Supervision for the Protective Program within Area Agency on Aging
Ensure that cases are investigated, evaluated, and maintained in assistance with appropriate laws, rules, and regulations.
Train and supervise as to rules, regulations, and procedures as they relate to protective services.
Maintain daily and weekly oversight of all on-going protective services cases.
Provide PS on-call supervision as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:

Must meet PA residency requirement.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of experience in public or private social work and a bachelor’s degree: OR an equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
