City of Lebanon

Disorderly Conduct – A 44 year old Lebanon man and a 41 year old North Lebanon Twp. man have been cited for Disorderly Conduct after an incident on March 23, 2021 at 9:05 a.m. on the 00 block of East Chestnut St.

Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct – A 26 year old Lancaster woman has been cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct on March 31, 2021 at 12:06 p.m. on the 100 block of North Chapel St.

Disorderly Conduct With A Motor Vehicle, Driving With A Suspended Driver’s License – Aa 31 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct with a Motor Vehicle and Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License on March 31, 2021 at 12:20 p.m. on the 500 block of Cumberland St.

Public Drunkenness, Drug Possession – A 25 year old North Cornwall Twp. man has been cited for Public Drunkenness and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on March 31, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. on the 200 block of North Partridge St.

Escape, Tampering With Or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Drug Possession – Charges of Escape, Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, False Identification to Law Enforcement, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Corey Hartman, a 45 year old Lebanon resident, after an incident on March 1, 2021 at 11:45 a.m. on the 00 block of North 12th St. Harman is accused of fleeing from police after destroying drug evidence and being told he was under arrest for a Lebanon County Bench Warrant. Hartman is also accused of providing a false name and date of birth during this incident. Hartman was incarcerated on March 1, 2021 on the Bench Warrant.

Burglary, Conspiracy To Commit Burglary, Theft, Conspiracy To Commit Theft – A 15 year old North Lebanon Twp. male has been charged with Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Theft, and Criminal Mischief after an incident on March 31, 2021 at 1:58 a.m. on the 500 block of South Lincoln Ave. The juvenile is accused of smashing the front door window of the store and making entry, taking merchandise with an estimated value of $500.00. Two other male juveniles are being sought due to their participation in the burglary. This investigation is ongoing. The charges have been filed with the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office.

Curfew Violation – Two 15 year old Lebanon males have been cited for a Curfew violation on April 2, 2021 at 3:47 a.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St.

Assault Firearm – On March 23, 2021 at 6:25 p.m., police were dispatched to the 800 block of Locust St. for a report of gunshots fired with a male Victim bleeding from his abdomen. The Victim was transported via private vehicle to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment.

The Victim is a 39 year old Lebanon man. He is stable and recovering from a gunshot wound to his chest.

Police are actively investigating this incident and recovered spent and unspent shell casings from the scene. The Suspect is described as a white, possibly Hispanic, male, tall in stature, and 30 to 40 years of age.

The evidence is leading police to believe the residence where the incident occurred was not randomly chosen, rather, it was specifically chosen by the Suspect.

UpdateAngel Ortiz-Haddock, a 44 year old Swatara Twp. resident, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Burglary as a result of an investigation into the incident that occurred on March 23, 2021. Ortiz-Haddock was apprehended on April 1, 2021 without incident. He was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $250,000 bail.

A search of Ortiz-Haddock’s vehicle was conducted after his arrest. A firearm matching the caliber utilized during the incident was recovered from the passenger compartment. Police also allege that Ortiz-Haddock possessed a loaded magazine when arrested. The magazine matches the caliber and ammunition for the firearm recovered from the vehicle.

The Victim has been released from the medical facility and is recovering from his injury.

Drug Possession – On April 2, 2021 at 11:23 p.m., at Lehman St. and North Partridge St., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown yielded the seizure of THC cartridges and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident are to be filed through Magisterial District Judge 52-1-01. The vehicles involved included a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. The Arrestee was an 18 year old Lebanon man.

North Londonderry Township

Theft – On April 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., the Victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered sometime between March 31, 2021 and April 1, 2021 on Augusta Dr. in Annville. Cash, gift cards, and lottery tickets were taken. The Victim was a 52 year old Annville woman.

South Londonderry Township

Helicopter Crash – On Saturday, April 3, 2021 at approximately 4:33 p.m., South Londonderry Twp. police, along with fire units, were dispatched to Reigle Aviation, located at 1805 South Forge Rd., for a report of a helicopter crash with injuries. Units arrived on scene and tended to the Pilot of the helicopter and sole Occupant. He had what were believed to be minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Hershey Medical Center. FAA and NTSB are investigating the helicopter crash.

Vehicle Accident – On March 26, 2021 at 4:39 p.m., the South Londonderry Twp. police department was dispatched to the area of Horseshoe Pk. and Schoolhouse Rd. for a report of an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, it was determined that a 13 year old Palmyra juvenile female had crossed the roadway, in traffic, and made contact with a motorist, a 39 year old Palmyra woman, traveling westbound. The juvenile female suffered from a foot injury as a result of the crash.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On April 1, 2021 at 9:38 p.m., this three-vehicle crash occurred between the 100 block of Fisher Ave. in Union Twp. and Fisher Ave. at the intersection with SR 72 in Union Twp. This crash began when Unit 1, a 2000 Ford F250 Supercab, driven by Operator 1, a 58 year old Hershey man, struck two mailboxes along the roadside on the 100 block of Fisher Ave. After striking the mailboxes, Unit 1 continued east on Fisher Ave. and struck a utility pole in the area of MSC Dr. After striking the utility pole, Unit 1 continued to travel east. After approximately .5 mile, Unit 1 crossed the double yellow lines and struck the driver’s side rear trailer tires of Unit 2, a 2015 Mack Trucks (model not listed), driven by Operator 2, a 28 year old Halifax man. The impact with Unit 2 dislodged the left front wheel and tire assembly from Unit 1. Unit 3, a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Operator 3, a 64 year old Lebanon man, was unable to swerve to avoid striking the wheel which was lying in the lane of travel. After impacting Unit 2, Unit 1 continued to travel east on Fisher Ave. Unit 1 subsequently traveled through the intersection of Fisher Ave. and SR 72 and struck a traffic signal pole located just off of the roadway and came to final rest. Fire and EMS arrived on scene and evaluated Operator 1. Operator 1 was taken to the Hershey Medical Center via Life Lion EMS for further medical evaluation related to a diabetic-related medical issue. Operator 2 and Operator 3 were not injured as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Unit 3 was towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by troopers Price, Yates, Imbriaco, and Cpl. Koch. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Possession With Intent To Deliver – On April 3, 2021 at 1:00 a.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on I 78 in the area of mile marker 1.5 in Union Twp. for multiple vehicle code violations. During the course of the traffic stop, indicators of criminal activity were present. A state police narcotics K9 was deployed on the vehicle and alerted to the vehicle. A search warrant was prepared and executed where the following was seized: in excess of 9,000 grams of THC edibles, in excess of 9,500 THC cartridges, and in excess of 450 THC candy bars. The estimated street value of the contents is approximately $500,000. The Operator and Passenger were taken into custody and charged accordingly. The Parties involved were Chanthorn Khut, a 34 year old W/H-M, and Veronica Desimone, a 27 year old W/N-F.
