Lebanon City Police announced details on an investigation into gunshots fired in the City of Lebanon around 3 a.m. on Monday, April 12.
Police said they were dispatched to 7th and Willow Streets at 3:11 a.m. Monday after the victim, a 31 year old Lancaster resident, was injured leaving a business on the 00 block of N. 9th Street.
According to the release, several patrons had a disagreement with security personnel after the business closed, which escalated into a physical altercation in which the security person discharged a firearm twice into the Lancaster resident’s car. Police said they have the firearm used in the shooting.
The business was not identified in the release.
The release says that the Lancaster resident was treated for minor injuries and no one else was injured in the incident. All persons involved have been identified, but police ask that anyone with further information call Lebanon City Police at 717-272-2054 or Crime Stoppers at 717-270-9800.
