East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 17, 2021 at 6:03 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred on SR 934 at its intersection with the SR 22 Eastbound ramp in East Hanover Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, driven by Operator 2, a 51 year old Harrisburg man, was traveling north on SR 934. Unit 1, a 2018 Honda Accord, driven by Operator 1, a 76 year old Lebanon man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 72 year old Lebanon woman, started to pull out onto traffic off the SR 22 Eastbound exit ramp at its intersection with SR 934 when it was struck in the front end by Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained damage to its front end and bumper. Unit 2 sustained a flat passenger’s side front tire. Unit 2 also had dents and scrapes on the passenger’s side rear panel and front bumper. None of the individuals involved in the crash reported any injuries. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

Harassment – On June 17, 2021 at approximately 3:07 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 10,000 block of Allentown Blvd. in East Hanover Twp. for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that, while arriving to pick up belongings from the residence, an assault occurred. PSP is investigating.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 9, 2021 at 3:15 p.m., this three-vehicle crash occurred on SR 501, north of its intersection with Reistville Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Acura TL, driven by Operator 1, a 49 year old Lancaster man, was traveling southbound on SR 501, north of its intersection with Reistville Rd. Unit 2, a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Operator 2, a 67 year old Lititz man, was traveling northbound on SR 501, north of its intersection with Reistville Rd. Unit 3, a 2019 Mack Trucks Granite, driven by Operator 3, a 40 year old Marietta woman, was traveling northbound on SR 501 directly behind Unit 2. Unit 1 crossed over the center line and struck Unit 2 on its rear driver’s side. Unit 1 and Unit 3 then collided in the northbound lane of SR 501. After Unit 1 and Unit 3 collided, Unit 1 struck a structure off of the right shoulder of SR 501. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash but refused transport. Operator 2 and Operator 3 were transported by Myerstown EMS for suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1, Unit 2, and Unit 3 were towed from the scene CJ Wagner’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown Fire, Myerstown EMS, and CJ Wagner’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Right Side of Roadway.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., this crash occurred on Hilltop Rd. at its intersection with Eisenhauer Rd. in Jackson Twp. Unit 1, a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 1, a 21 year old Ephrata woman, was traveling northbound on Hilltop Rd., negotiating a righthand curve. Unit 2, a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, driven by Operator 2, a 67 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling south on Hilltop Rd. Unit 1 left the east side of the roadway, striking a utility pole. Unit 1 then spun 180 degrees counterclockwise and was struck by Unit 2. Unit 1 came to final rest, facing south in the southbound lane of travel. Unit 2 came to final rest on the west shoulder of the southbound lane of travel. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its front end as well as minor damage to its rear end. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Leffler’s Towing. Unit 2 sustained minor front end damage and was driven from the scene by Operator 2. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and refused transport by EMS. Operator 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Myerstown EMS, Lebanon County fire companies, and Leffler’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Jonestown Borough

Harassment – On June 11, 2021 at 4:01 p.m., this incident occurred on Creek View Dr. as the Victim was allegedly mentally and physically abused by her parents and boyfriend. The Victim was a 13 year old Jonestown female.

Myerstown Borough

Missing Person – On June 15, 2021 at approximately 12:24 p.m., Lebanon County Children and Youth was attempting to transport Heriberto Cruz from his residence, located on the 00 block of West Main Ave. in Myerstown Boro.) to the Bethany’s Children’s Home in Berks Co. Cruz escaped from Bethany’s on June 12, 2021 and was subsequently located within Lebanon City. Cruz left CYS custody wearing black gym pants, a white jacket, a white bandana on his head, white sneakers, and a book bag. Cruz is a 15 year old W/H/M and is approximately 5’10” and 150 lbs. Cruz fled the area on foot, traveling west on Carpenter Ave. There are no known associates or destinations at this time. Cruz is currently listed as missing from PSP Jonestown, South Heidelberg Twp. police department, and Reading City police department. Anyone with information regarding Cruz’s whereabouts is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and Lebanon County Children Youth Services at 717-228-4430.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 18, 2021 at 1:09 p.m., this crash occurred on the 00 block of North Londonderry Sq. as a vehicle driven by a Lebanon man struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a Palmyra woman while the woman was stopped in the drive-thru at Arby’s. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash and the vehicles could be driven from the scene. The woman was cited for Drivers Required to be Licensed.

South Londonderry Township

DUI, Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – On March 23, 2021 at 9:11 p.m., South Londonderry Twp. police investigated an accident on the 100 block of Palmyra Rd. where Michael Soondar, a 19 year old Palmyra resident, and Devin Horst, a 20 year old Palmyra resident, were involved in the incident. After the police investigation, it was learned that Soondar had been operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs/alcohol, and had an open alcoholic container. Horst was a passenger in the vehicle and was intoxicated. Both are under the age of 21. Police also found drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle.

Careless Driving – On April 13, 2021 at 12:24 p.m., the South Londonderry Twp. police department was dispatched to the area of the 400 block of Royal Rd. for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a parked car. After an investigation, it was determined that a 78 year old Palmyra woman struck a parked vehicle while traveling on Royal Rd. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident – On June 14, 2021 at 3:54 p.m., South Londonderry Twp. police investigated a crash at Elizabethtown Rd. at Mount Wilson Rd. It was found that a 56 year old Lebanon man emerged from a stop sign onto Mount Wilson Rd. from Elizabethtown Rd. when it was unsafe to do so. A second vehicle, driven by a 56 year old Lancaster man had been traveling south on Mount Wilson Rd. and had the right of way. It was at that time that the Lebanon man was struck by the second vehicle as a result. Both drivers sustained minor injuries as a result of this crash and both vehicles required towing. Lawn Fire Co., Campbelltown Fire Co., and First Aid and Safety Patrol EMS assisted at the scene.

Leaving The Scene Of An Accident – On May 30, 2021 at 2:50 p.m., Naomi Brubaker, a 20 year old Palmyra resident, is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident after her vehicle struck another vehicle at the intersection of the South Forge and Horseshoe Pike traffic light. Both traffic lights were green at the time. Brubaker failed to remain at the scene of the crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.

Union Township

Drug Possession – On May 16, 2021 at 1:37 a.m., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on Jonestown Rd. and SR 72 yielded the seizure of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. The Arrestee was a 17 year old Lebanon male. The vehicles involved included a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 14, 2021 at 12:15 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 322 at Butler Rd. Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 72 year old Bonita Springs, FL man, was stopped in the westbound lane at the traffic light on SR 322 at Butler Rd., and was struck by Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 66 year old Lewistown man. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The vehicles sustained minor damage, but both vehicles were drivable.

Deer Struck – A 76 year old Annville woman struck a deer on June 16, 2021 at 12:40 a.m. on SR 322 Westbound before the SR 419 intersection. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
