LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

This week’s pet is Dutch, owned by Erin Lingle.

She got Dutch nine months ago from Tri-Z Kennel in Myerstown.

“We got Dutch immediately after the passing of our old boy ‘Dre,’ a pit bull rescue,” Erin says. “We had just welcomed a baby girl to our family, too. Raising a baby, a 7-year-old and now also a stubborn puppy, hailing to be a cartoon brought to life, has been full of stories to share.”

Dutch, Erin explains, is named for Phillies legend Darren “Double Dutch” Daulton. An English bulldog, he’s just 11 months old.

“Dutch is 100 percent bad boy!” Erin writes. “His larger than life personality and devilishly handsome grandpa face keeps him out of the doghouse with his family.”

The playful bulldog enjoys “rolling in dirt, chasing his sisters, climbing furniture, chewing anything he can get his jaws on, rubber chickens, and wrestling with his homie: George the Boxer!” she relates. “By popular request, we have given Dutch his very own Instagram account so friends, family, and fans can follow his shenanigans! Find and follow @diggitydutch.”

Check out Dutch online, or give him a cheerful hello if you meet him in person!
