Bethel Township
Theft – This incident occurred sometime between July 27, 2019 at 12:01 a.m. and July 27, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of suspected theft from a youth organization on South Tan Aly. The investigation is ongoing.
Simple Harassment – Members of PSP Jonestown are investigating a report of a physical altercation that reportedly occurred on Golf Rd. on Oct. 31, 2021 at 1:37 p.m. The investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 19 year old Lebanon woman.
Cornwall Borough
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 11, 2021 at 8:32 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 72 Northbound near the SR 322 East overpass. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 49 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling northbound on SR 72, when it struck a tree that had fallen over both lanes of travel on SR 72. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 11, 2021 at 3:06 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Palmyra man, was traveling northbound on Gravel Hill Rd., just south of its intersection with Allentown Blvd. (SR 22). Unit 1 failed to properly negotiate a right curve and slid on the wet roadway. Unit 1 left the right side of the roadway, striking a PennDOT sign and an embankment. After striking the embankment, Unit 1 overturned onto its driver’s side. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
Jackson Township
Harassment Physical Contact – Members of PSP Jonestown are investigating a reported harassment incident that occurred on Meadow View Dr. sometime between Aug. 1, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. and Aug. 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. It was reported that an adult male touched a juvenile female, making her feel uncomfortable. The investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 14 year old juvenile female.
Myerstown Borough
Theft – On Dec. 13, 2021 at 10:11 a.m., State Police responded to West Washington Ave. for a report of a theft. Through investigation, it was determined that the Victim placed a package on top of her mailbox to be mailed. The Suspect removed the package from the top of the Victim’s mailbox before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction of travel. The Suspect is described as a W/H-F, mid- to late-20s, medium height and build, with long brown hair. The Suspect’s vehicle is described as an older model, white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Trailblazer. Anybody with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown and reference incident number PA2021-1652651. The Victim was a 39 year old Myerstown woman. The stolen property included a Pink Box Containing Skin Cleansing Set, valued at $174.00.
Firearm All Other Offenses – Members from PSP Jonestown were advised of a Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) denial that occurred on East Main Ave. on Sept. 26, 2020 at 12:39 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
Overdose – On Dec. 10, 2021 at 8:30 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to North Railroad St. for a report of a female who had overdosed. The female was administered Narcan and became conscious and alert prior to PSP arrival. PSP Jonestown is investigating. The Victim was a 32 year old Myerstown woman.
North Annville Township
Drug Possession – On Dec. 7, 2021 at 12:25 a.m., this incident occurred on West Main St. and Clear Spring Rd. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee was in possession of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 40 year old Palmyra man. The vehicles involved included a 2002 Saturn Homes DIV Of Harrelson Corporation.
North Lebanon Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 6, 2021 at 9:55 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 343 near its intersection with Heffelfinger Rd. in North Lebanon Twp. Unit 1, a 2016 Nissan Sentra, driven by Operator 1, a 32 year old Jonestown man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 27 year old Jonestown woman, was traveling north on SR 343. A deer ran into the roadway and was struck by Unit 1. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.
Swatara Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 14, 2021 at 5:45 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Burnham man, was traveling eastbound on I 78 East at mile marker 3.7. Unit 1 exited the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Unit 1 came to final rest in the upright position. Unit 1 sustained significant rollover damage as a result of this crash and was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained a suspected minor injury as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Northern Lebanon Fire and Emergency Services, Life Lion EMS, and Fire Police. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Union Township
Harassment Physical Contact – Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report from Dec. 11, 2021 at 6:18 p.m. on Awol Rd. of past physical abuse to a child by their parent. The investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 17 year old Jonestown juvenile male.
Harassment Physical Contact – Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a report from Nov. 22, 2021 at 1:39 a.m. on Awol Rd. of a sexual assault incident that occurred approximately five years ago. The investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 15 year old Jonestown juvenile female.
West Cornwall Township
Deer Struck – On Dec. 10, 2021 at 5:20 p.m., Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 60 year old Hummelstown woman, struck a deer on SR 322 Eastbound near Spangler Rd. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was driven from the scene. The deer fled.
