If you hear rumblings from northern Lebanon County this month, worry not – it’s probably just the Gap.
Here’s the training schedule at Fort Indiantown Gap for March.
Things kicked off this past weekend with demolition training, which will be held again March 11-13 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and March 15-16 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Mortar live-fire training will be held March 11-17 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The month of training will conclude with artillery live-fire training March 20-23 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fort Indiantown Gap is the only live-fire and maneuver military base in Pennsylvania. It is considered the nation’s largest National Guard training facility by number of mandays trained – close to one million annually.
