Historical society board chair Susan Hostetter said in a release that the new book is designed to be a handy reference guide on the history of Mount Gretna as well as a guide book for those people walking around the community.

The book can be preordered online through the historical society’s website or by sending a check payable to the Mount Gretna Area Historical Society at P.O. Box 362, Mount Gretna, PA 17064. The book can be preordered by non-members for $35, inclusive of tax, or by historical society members for $30.

The historical society is also seeking sponsors of the book to support the project. At a cost of $100 each, sponsors can elect to have their name be listed in the book or remain anonymous donors.

With questions, contact the historical society at (717) 964-1105 or mtgretnahistory@gmail.com.
